Well it would more likely be for Dreamcast rather than GC since it's uber expensive on GC... but then I'm not particularly willing to spend £30 on a DC game.
Either that or pirate it... but I feel bad about pirating things I don't already own.

So as a reward for working towards my exams or something, my mum bought me a near-mint condition Dreamcast. I don't know why but hey there we go.
Basically I wondered what games people like/what games are good on the Dreamcast so I can try them out. I'm already getting Power Stone 1/2 and Marvel vs. Capcom so yeah, thats it really.
I'd also like to ask: I'm getting a scart cable anyway just in case, but I was wondering whether I could use the scart cable to connect it to my LCD TV, or would it HAVE to be an old TV, because then I'm going to get a poor picture quality :/

I haven't been able to get them to activate, but that might be because I'm having to land on Sirius, screwing up the game mechanics. If that's the case, it'll mean that I can put them in by fighting against another borg, but will have no idea what the damage will be. Well, you do have a member-submitted section that seemed to serve that purpose... Hence the confusion... Yeah, for those bits that either I pick out here, or for those that people PM me. To be honest, there shouldn't be that much confusion, it's all clearly stated on the first page.

1. Was it mentioned that Hammer robots B shot absorbs projectiles like bullets and beams? (Not like the G-red Charge B beam but like Beam gunner B shot beam.) All attacks like that absorb projectiles if i remember right. 2. Are ya'll checking for Landing attacks on all of these borgs? (When you land and that puff of smoke or whatever is on the screen and you try to Melee, some borgs have extra attacks depending on what Frame type they use.) If i remember correctly Hammar robot shares the same basic Frame as Megaton robot (The robot who throws his head at people for massive damage), so his Landing attack should be a slidekick or something. 1. I've got it in my notes, but I don't appear to have edited it in, so yeah, I'll do that when I can get to a computer. 2. Death Eye just said that, and yeah I am. When I tested it, I could only get him to do a very slight variant on his air attack, so I didn't think it was worth putting it in as a sepearate attack since it did the same amount of damage and took the same amount of time to pull off. I'll add it in and re-test it to make sure though if you would like me too.

So I just noticed that at the start of the articles with all the damage listings the dashing and landing melees and one of the aerial melees (either the air-dashing melee or the normal aerial one) aren't mentioned. Because no borg I have reviewed yet has dashing or landing melees that are any different from their normal ones, except Killer Girl whom only has a dashing melee and nothing else @.@ Also, a bit of a format question: I have, on at least one occasion, noticed rather obvious strategic failures and other things that I needed to fix in my strategy write-ups. Would it not be easier to modify them if they were directly posted in the thread as opposed to being edited into the first post? You're kidding me right? You mean you haven't been doing so on my account? Despite me saying right at the start and constantly throughout that it would make everything easier if you just replied to the BOTW thread for that week? Great. You write really good articles. Thanks a lot! I'm glad that you like them

Bio: A robot-type Gotcha Borg who belongs to the steel machinery unit. His hammer attack is designed for close range battle! Stop enemy movements by setting marking out a trap with air mines! Overview: So we come to the first review of a robot. These guys usually aren’t very fast but can take hits, are powerful in melee and are hard to flinch. Hammer robot… well… he’s a bit specialist. He’s sort of a robot smushed with a wizard borg; he’s still strong but he has basically one attack and instead has a bomb drop… thing. Also, that unflinchability? Gone. His designs okay, nothing hideous, but not particularly outstanding. I don’t quite understand why he’s called Hammer Robot but I guess Spiky Balls Robot doesn’t have quite the same ring to it. Moves: B attack – Double Hammer; Ground: 44 (1 hit) – 117 (full combo – 5 hits), Air: 44 (1 hit)First things first, it should be pointed out that this attack is slow. It takes ages to get the first hit in because he sort of lines himself up with the enemy before attacking, however, once you get the third hit in, he does a headspin so you’re opponent should be hit for the full 117 damage, which is quite a nice amount. In the air, he does a little slam with his fists, which is okay. Again, it’s slow and quite hard to pull off, but not nearly as hard as the ground version. It also hits for a nice amount for an air move. B shot – Double Hammer Shot; 40 (one hammer) – 79 (both hammers) This is one of my favourite moves in the game. I know I end up saying that about everything, but seriously, these types of moves are lovely if you can pull them off. Hammer Robot’s fists shoot forward and hit anything within a short distance. If one of the fists is blocked by scenery, no matter, the other carries on regardless for the full distance. It doesn’t come up as having ammo, so could be thought to be a long range physical attack. It’s pretty great since it hits your enemy far away for some reason, and when the enemy falls to the floor from being hit by it, they won’t flinch like usual, so you can carry on spamming it until they’re dead. His best move. X – Lay the Mine; 15 (one bomb exploding) – 62 (all four exploding) – 98 (all four hitting enemy when deployed, exploding upon said enemy)Hammer Robot didn’t exactly luck out when it came to move names did he? ‘Lay the Mine’ does precisely that; the four mines lodged into Hammer Robot’s chest sort of float out of him and remain stationary in the air until anything hits them (enemy, scenery, attack) or until after 8-10 seconds. This is what makes Hammer Robot unique and honestly? It’s not that great. The mines themselves are awesome; you’ll definitely catch an enemy off guard, since they’re hard to see (especially on split screen) but they do very low damage and don’t make the enemy flinch (unless they’re insanely weak). The problem is, when setting them up, you’re extremely vulnerable and the damage they do (unless you hit the same enemy with your full clip of mines) don’t really count too much in the game. Still, you get 4 sets of 4 bombs to each clip and they reload fairly fast. Thoughts: 1v1 versus; I wouldn’t bother with mines since they just slow you down. Hammer Robot’s slow, so don’t rely on dodging; luckily he’s bulky enough to take loads of hits, so you won’t notice much. Hammer Robots B shot is great because if you fire it whilst dodging to the side, it sort of sweeps the area in front of you, and it’s really hard to dodge (unless the enemy can fly), so what I’d recommend is to keep side dodging sort of close to your enemy and spam the B shot. When the enemy falls, keep using it since it usually doesn’t make them flinch and will still hit for a nice amount of damage. The problem with Hammer Robot is that he seems to flinch from almost any physical attack launched on him, and since his own B is so slow, there’s almost no point in using him physically. His B shot’s strength more than makes up for an expected lack of power. I wouldn’t go flying about since his boost jump runs out really, really quickly, and he lands slowly; but feel free to use it to dodge to the side, since it’s much, much faster than his normal walking pace. 2v2 versus; Same strategy for 1v1, but I’d say you can use mines here as long as your partner is relatively competent. Just make sure the heat is off you, so you can make sure you’re safe. Story; Same again. Computers are stupid and erratic so battles will be done faster without using the mines, but then again, your partner is a computer so it may help them out. One thing that doesn’t help out is his cost, which I believe outweighs his pros, but if your confident enough in your ability with middle sized robots, then go for him. Member-submitted; Team-mates: Robots tend to work out with anything. I’d say don’t use support borgs (unless they’re nurses) though since he doesn’t exactly have the strength to protect two things for too long, but he could still do it for a while. Just not as long as other robots. In story, any partner will be fine. Mana works out well as you’re so slow that she’ll be able to get a few heals in on you. I guess Met wouldn’t be too good due to his variety of support ish borgs, but then again, Hammer Robot could still work okay with him. Counters: Anything long range (like the valkyries) or anything fast moving (such as the Ninjas) Hammer robot needs to be quite close to pull off attacks, so stay away and shoot and eventually, you’ll take him down. Overall: Pros; + Awesome B shot + Great at taking hits + Unique X move Cons; - Awful at flying - Slow B attack - X move isn’t that great Tier: I’d put him middle-low. Practically every robot is better than him since they can fire far away, but he’s actually more manoeuvrable, and his X is very unique, being the only really stealthy move in the game and he can take loads of hits. Then again, he really only has one decent way of attacking and can’t fly.

Since we don't have the Tier List Thread yet, I'll just post this here. So I was doing what I believe was a battle against a generic Death Force Unit, using Vlad, when a Ring Valkrie showed up. Because my mind works in odd ways, that got me thinking, and I came to a conclusion. That conclusion is that Vlad should not be as highly-ranked as we think in a competitive battle because, theoretically, all the opponent would have to do would be to dodge like crazy until you have 1 HP, then get one hit on you, meaning that against an intelligent (but boring) opponent Vlad can only kill Borgs that are slower than him.Thoughts? Well, first off, that doesn't apply to a 2v2 situation, since if both enemies are concentrating on avoiding Vlad, then whatever team-mate you have can finish them off... so in a sense, that's actually a reason to pick Vlad in 2v2... ish. In 1v1, you have a valid point, but Vlads attacks are quite hard to dodge (especially his B shot), and if he gets a hit in on you with a B shot or any other move, there's a high chance he can then pull off a Blood Dance, essentially bringing him back by 1/6th of his hp. Although his hp depletion is fast, lets say 2 hp a second, that means that he will drop to one hp in ohh 2 minutes 20. That may seem like no time at all, but that's more than enough time for your opponent to slip up and for you then to get a Blood Dance in, restoring your time alive by ~23 seconds, and considering how powerful Vlad is, it wont take too many Blood Dances to finish an enemy off. On a sad note, due to how much work I have today, the BOTW will have to go up tomorrow D:

I do have it. I can also easily figure out where I got it... just as soon as I'm no longer SWAMPED with homework. Seriously, I have to read an entire book by tomorrow, then for my AP Psychology class I might as well be writing a book. Alternatively, if you have a disc drive that can manage mini-DVDs you should be able to just take it directly from your disc... somehow... I don't think I could rip it from the disc, not only is my disc insanely scratched because I never put it in its box, but I doubt I could do it XD If you have time could you give me the link/email the rom to me? But first tell me how big it is XD

^ I really didnt like the Wii version. I agree that it's worse than the original (although, that itself really hasn't aged well) but I actually really enjoy it. Plus, it's the Wii's best shooter so yeah. Only problem is, no-one I know seems to have it, even if the wi-fi community is excellent @.@

Anyone know a good gamecube emulator? Dolphin. But you better have one badass computer if you hope to run it at full speed. Dee, do you have the Gotcha Force rom? Was thinking of running the emulator but couldn't find it anywhere on the intranet. In case Admin worries, I wouldn't be playing it, just hacking the textures for lols :3

Uh, I actually prefer Boost Jump ;D Air Jump is useful for some situations and borgs (like if you need to stay airborne for a long time e.g. Gold Hero), but I generally like the smoothness of Boost Jump more. Oh right O.O I swear you said you didn't XD Ahaha, must have been someone else then :3 Yup, that's the idea XD I just want two more borgs to make it worth discussing since I assume we all agree on the list so far. I can't remember if you can edit polls onto threads, but if we ever hit a roadblock over which is better or whatever, then I was thinking I just add a poll and leave it a week or something so that it all works out fair. Also, I will edit your stuff in in a mo so yeah ;D Additionally, the general consensus seems to be for a mega hero borg ultra super sandwich article so yeah, I'll do that but maybe edit it slightly into two bits.. sorta. You'll see what I mean when it comes to it. ...And since I can't wait, I'mma gonna go ahead and state that the borg for 6/11/2011 is..... Hammer Robot!

Great stuff guys. Remember, if you want me to write any of it in, tell me and I'll gladly do so. Also, I'll probably randomly choose some things that match my opinion to put in there too because I'm awesome like that.
On another note, Tier list thread is going up when I feel I've reviewed enough borgs, so probably at the end of next week. I said I'd do an overhaul of this thread but I feel it's okay at the moment. If anyone's got any suggestions feel free to tell me, because I'll be damned if I know what I'm doing.
Just thought I'd ask a question which I was wondering when playing today; Boost Jump or Air Jump?
I know both me and NJay dislike boost jump but yeah, what are other peoples thoughts?
Also I was thinking about this a while back; would you like me to do individual articles for Gold Hero's/Metal Hero's Hero and Weeny forms? Or do you want me to smush them together in some sort of ultra borg article sandwich? Or do you really not care? Post awaaaaayyyyy *fades into background*

Bio: Nekobe's partner. This Vampire Knight has a life-sucking sword called the Shadow Bringer. Vlad has a big ego, but so far he hasn't proved his skill. Maybe Nekobe needs to practice some more! Overview: Is it just me or is this guy absolutely awesome? Look at him. Neon red swords, and a lovely design; I’m a sucker for anything purple. What’s even better? He plays amazingly too. Sure every second he’s out on the battlefield he loses health, but what does that matter? He restores health on every hit! Also, he’s quite fast, can take quite a lot of hits and deals out damage like nobody’s business. Probably one of my new favourite borgs. Moves: [-hp] = how much hp is restored upon hitting B attack – Shadow Bringer; Ground: 27 (one hit) [12hp] – 76 (full combo – 4 hits) [33hp], Air: 49 (2 hits) [18hp]Oh wow. A four hit combo that does 76 damage? That’s awesome. It also attacks fairly quickly. It’s great in the air too with him doing a little cartwheel allowing him to hit things both above, in front, behind and below. It can be a bit annoying when you start it on the ground though since it starts with a lunge, meaning your opponent can quickly get behind you and avoid it. Also, when testing this, I managed to get it so that pressing B started his X move, but I have since not been able to recreate it so I assume it was a glitch. B shot – Sonic Slash; 27 (1 shot) [0hp] – 135 (full clip – 5 shots) [0hp] /162 (full clip – 6 shots) [0hp] This is pretty cool. Vlad fires a huge cross at his enemies, which hones on and hits at quite a fast speed. It doesn’t restore hp though which kind of sucks, but you should only really be doing it to finish off enemies so that doesn’t matter too much. You may wonder why I have put two different values for its full clip. That’s because although it’s max clip is 5, every time you shoot it starts to reload, rather than waiting for you to shoot all of the shots, and if you fire them as fast as you can, you effectively have 6 shots at your disposal. X – Blood Dance; 109 (press B – 8 hits) [48hp] – 133 (hold B – 12 hits) [57hp]This is the meat and bones of it. An incredibly good attack, restoring about a sixth of Vlads health and doing loads of damage, this should be your main attack. It’s really useful, especially if you get some air as it points down, so you can trap your opponents against the ground and get a full combo in. Unfortunately, it does make the enemy flinch so they can quickly recover and give you some payback. Also, if you manage to hit an enemy upwards with them, they’ll fly really far, although with Vlad, you don’t necessarily want that to happen. Thoughts: 1v1 versus; He’s great in 1v1. He’s so tough, he can take any hits your opponent throws at you and then you can take back any health lost AND deal a hell of a lot of damage at the same time. He’s great in 1v1 since he can close in on the enemy and they can’t really do much to escape you. Awesome. 2v2 versus; Still pretty goddamn awesome. Exact same strategy as 1v1, just try to avoid the extra enemy. It can get pretty hectic here and you run the risk of hitting your ally, but that won’t do too much damage to them and will still heal you. It’s pretty easy to dodge with him as well since he’s rather fast and has Air Jump lv.3, meaning you can dodge enemies and then attack them from behind. He really is great everywhere. Story; Now’s the time I mention the one drawback, the insanely high cos- wait a minute. 330? What? That’s insanely low! Seriously, I didn’t actually know that until I looked just now, I assumed he was around 600! Use him, he’s awesome, although I must say, when there are 4 or 5 enemies it can get a little hard to take down one or two as you can get overwhelmed. Keep dodging and keep spamming that X though, and you should be fine. Member-submitted; Death Eye; After using Shield Witch, the seemingly average speed of Vlad felt good. But that's not really the point of this, so on to the actual substance of this thing. Vlad is like a weird Musha Borg. Thus, he plays kind of like a weird Musha Borg. You have two options to approach. You can either air-dash in and dodge stuff or you can ground-dash toward the target while using the... *wants to use correct attack name for once* ... Sonic Slash. Because the Sonic Slash provides a very good carrying of momentum, so you can go pretty far at a decent speed if you use it in mid-dash. It also helps stun small targets. Either way, once you get in melee range you might want to just use the Blood Dance (*already had attack names on screen from earlier*), but I wouldn't recommend it; it's not all that hard to dodge. Instead, melee normally (i.e. with the B button). If your target happens to be on the ground, it should stun it long enough for the Blood Dance to be pretty much a guaranteed hit (unless you did your dash melee, in which case you'll be lucky to get more than three hits with it). If not, it's probably being sent flying a bit, so don't try it; just melee normally. Of course, if you're up against a Dragon or Fortress you can throw all of that out the window and abuse the crap out of the Blood Dance; they're certainly not getting out of the way on their own power. But if you're up against any large Machine Borg you've got a problem; they don't flinch with single hits, meaning they can still dodge the Blood Dance, and they're fast, so just using the Blood Dance without meleeing will accomplish absolutely nothing in the vast majority of circumstances. So the Blood Dance is basically useless, leaving your normal melees as the only offense you have that can heal you. And even that, when the first hit doesn't get shrugged off as the Machine knees you in the face, shoots you, or dashes away from you, can't heal you enough to compensate for the damage you'll be taking trying to get a good combo in. So you're screwed if one of them shows up. Oh, and in terms of tiers I'd put Vlad above Killer Girl and Normal Knight (so at the top of what we would already have if we had an official developing tier list (that I know of)), and I'm pretty sure Shield Witch shouldn't even be in the same list as the others. Team-mates: Anything. Long range borgs would be better so that you get full coverage, but honestly, he works with anything. I’d say go for Fortresses and gun or girl borgs though, and maybe avoid machine borgs since they can get in the way a lot, but really, he goes with anything. Again, in Story mode, any partner will do. Counters: Long range borgs, because he’s a physical attacker, but he has a fairly high resilience so they won’t deter him much. Knights would be okay too though, as long as you can angle the shield correctly. Something that did stop me a lot was Flame Ninja due to the amount of hits he can get in and since he’s slightly faster than Vlad at pulling off attacks, he could hit me before I could recover any hp, so that too. Tanks sort of screw him over too. Overall: Pros; + Very low cost for what it is + Essentially infinite hp/gains hp each hit + Really powerful + Amazing design Cons; - Only good at short range - Can be inaccurate - Loses hp each second Tier: Highest tier. Seriously, I honestly believe it’s one of the strongest borgs in the game, and the fact that it’s cost is so low so that it can be considered as filler and he can last for absolutely ages. He’s also really, really fun to play as, and has the coolest design in the game. Awesome.

Bio: When ordinary witches fail to beat enemies with powerful attacks, bring on the Shield Witch! She'll repel enemy attacks with her SUPER BARRIER SPELL! Overview: I totally expected to be writing about how much she sucks. I really, really did. And do you know what? She really isn’t that bad. I mean sure, it’ll be a miracle if you can kill anything with her, but she certainly is worth using once in a while, even if it is just to catch your enemy off guard. Moves: B attack – Stick of S.Guard; Ground: 17 (one hit) – 31 (full combo – 2 hits), Air: 8No. You shouldn’t be using this. It’s slow and hits for very very low damage, although, once you’ve got the first hit in, you almost definitely will get the other in, so yeah. Another thing, you should never be near enough an enemy to use this, unless they’re charging at you. Also, under no circumstances should someone use it in the air. 8 damage? 8? God help us all. B shot – Magic Shot; 17 (1 shot) – 170 (full clip – 10 shots) This is your main attacking move. Shield Witch fires a little slow moving orb which has actually got a fair bit of bite to it. Although the orb does move slowly, there are two major pluses. One is the fact that when dashing, it just leaves her body toward the enemy rather than her stopping or turning to fire it. The other is that you can’t fire multiple in quick succession. Now that may sound like a fault, but the speed at which you can fire them makes them hit opponents with just enough space in between to never make them flinch. Why is this so useful? Well it means that you can hit fortresses and other big borgs without ever worrying of giving them the advantage of invincibility. One other thing that must be said however is that they have a really slow reload time. All in all, the flaws balance out the pros making this an okay-ish move. X – Super Barrier Spell; 0No damage? Madness! But seriously, this is an awesome move. It creates a shield around an opponent whom this shot hit, which floats in front of them in the direction of their targeted enemy, absorbing any shots fired by the enemy, but not you. I.e. if G Red was hit with it, and then they targeted Panther Vehicle, the shield would float between G Red and Panther Vehicle, and absorb any of G-Red’s shots, but let panther vehicle’s shots through. It works pretty well, I only know of a few different shots that can surpass it; physical shots like Drill Robots drills and all of the Fortress’ B moves since they curve around the shield. It lasts a few seconds, but they don’t stack, so if you want to re-enforce the shield, wait until the first one is just about to disappear. There is one problem though; it is fairly inaccurate, but not enough to warrant not using her. This move is the only reason to use Shield Witch. Thoughts: 1v1 versus; I so expected to be writing not to use her. I mean, even in my notes it says, and I quote; “1v1? NO” But I was wrong. The shield she creates is awesome, absorbing any shots fired by the enemy. Also, the fact that she has air jump lv.3 means she can dart about the stage endlessly, with just enough speed to avoid the majority of shots. Her B shot also means that she can fire without stopping at all, meaning that you can actually take down quite a lot of enemies. Avoid fast physical attackers mind, they’ll screw you over rather bad since the shield doesn’t do anything to them. You might be able to get a few hits in though, since they may walk into your B shots. 2v2 versus; 2v2 is a little bit different, since there are two enemies, you have to rely on your team-mate getting the heat of the enemies and your dodging skill. Your ally should be thankful though, if you create a shield around an enemy they’re having trouble with, that’ll help keep them alive for much longer. You’ll probably last for quite a bit, she seems to take a fair few hits, so yeah. She can be annoying so you should mainly use her as an annoyer or to help out an ally whom has low health. A final point, is that she is incredibly cheap, meaning she can be used as a filler if you have a competent friend. Story; As said, she’s decent in 2v2 and 1v1 and has a low cost, so you’d expect her to be great for story mode. She.. she isn’t really. If you’re going to use her, don’t do so in a crowded fight with lots of strong enemies since she won’t last a second. Unfortunately, the computer allies aren’t really optimised to help you out, so yeah. She can be good, but it really depends on how hard the fight is, Member-submitted; Death Eye: You know, I was just thinking the other day about how Shield Witch (and, by extension, Guard Witch, but I'll be ignoring that for the sake of convenient grammar) seemed to be pretty much the only Wizard Borgs (Yeah, you know how I said I'd be ignoring Guard Witch for the sake of grammar? I lied, apparently.) that could hold their own in a 1v1 fight. Now that I'm typing this I realize the majority of them are detrimental to the opponents, so that's irrelevant, but whatever. Basically, using Shield Witch 1v1 didn't work as well as I had hoped. The problem with Shield Witch in 1v1 is that Shield Witch in 1v1 has too many problems. Too slow. Can't shoot on a steep enough downward angle to make an aerial attack effective, apparently. Terrible melee. Basically the only way to do damage in 1v1 that I could manage was to hit the target with a barrier, get a fair distance away, and spam the shots until the target got close enough to melee, then sidestep (if I could, what with the lag after the shots) and inadvertently melee to send him flying. And that was against Kakeru. In the first training mission. Against Proto Mars? Right, good luck with that. Against a Normal Knight, even? Or a Wing Soldier? Yeah, you're screwed. Basically, don't do it. 2v2, on the other hand, is what Shield Witch was made for. (Seemingly?) Little-known fact: Shield Witch's barrier blocks shots based on what side fired them, not who got hit with the shield. Therefore, you can shoot your partner with the barrier and it will still block the opponents' shots, with its position determined by who your partner is targeting (the same way as it is when you hit the opponents with it). But aside from that detail, it's the same strategy in 2v2 as it is with other similar detrimental supporters; dodge around shooting the opponents with your Borg's detrimental attack of choice. Except in this case you don't need to worry about making sure you don't hit your partner with it (a problem I had with my Bug Witch I had later in my force I used for testing), as it'll help anyway. Oh, and NO MATTER WHAT, RESIST THE URGE TO STEP IN AND DO ACTUAL DAMAGE! YOUR BORG IS SEVERELY OUTCLASSED BY PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING IN AN OFFENSIVE ROLE! Team-mates: Anything that can take heat or use blasts to push enemies away from shield witch so that she can get close enough to use her shields. Other than that, borgs that are decent at taking out physical attackers so that they won’t give Shield Witch any trouble. She can be used with a borg that sucks against shooters in order to give it protection, but you sort of need to protect her so she can protect you, if that makes any sense. In story, any partner apart from Mana or maybe Met. You don’t want a 2v2 team made up of two support borgs. Especially weak ones. Counters: Strong physical attackers, Drill Robot, anything fast and able to dodge. In 1v1 you may struggle a teeny bit, but in 2v2 she shouldn’t be too hard to take down. Just keep attacking. Overall: Pros; + Air Jump Level 3 + Low Cost + Shield move Cons; - Poor attacks - Hideous Design - Inaccurate Tier: Middle Tier. She isn’t quite good enough for higher tiers, but her dodging ability and that X move make her much better than lower tiers.

Bio: A beautiful assassin who never misses her target. She can defeat any enemy with her "straight to the heart" special shot! Overview: You know, I used to really hate Killer Girl when I first got her, to the point where I actually didn’t have her in my box until this article forced me to. But now my eyes have been opened; she is very good. She can’t take much damage, but is surprisingly good at dodging and has awesome moves. Also, look at that design. Moves:B attack – Killer Sword; Air: 17Okay, so let’s start off with her worst attack. I can’t get this to work on the ground… when I tested it, she only shot when right next to borgs so from what I can tell, it either does not exist on the ground or it has a ridiculously small hitbox. Either way, it does minimal damage so you shouldn’t really be using it. It’s incredibly useful if your opponent is making a final push; coming toward you when they have little to no hp, you just dash toward them and hit B. It’s rather fast so it should usually hit first, but I don’t think it pushes the opponent away so using it on a borg with full or high hp leaves you open to attacks. B shot – Assault rifle; 37/38 (5 shots) – 152 (full clip – 20 shots)Now this is more like it. Pressing B once fires 5 little bullet-like shots which travel toward the enemy at a decent speed. They do high damage for a shot and make up for her rather poor B attack. The only downside with them is that they are highly inaccurate, however, they reload incredibly quickly allowing you to shoot all you want since you know that you’ll be fully restocked in a few short moments. Lovely. X – Buster Killer Laser; 40 (one beam) – 120 (full clip – 3 shots)And in case you thought it kinda sucked how inaccurate she was, the game gives her (probably) the most accurate move in the game. Buster lasers are lovely, essentially creating an explosion at where the enemy was when you fired it. The great thing is, the explosion is pretty big, so more often than not, even if the enemy is frantically dodging they get caught in the blast radius and still take a bit of damage. The best thing though is that if any enemy that is small gets caught in the blast, they fly away to kingdom come, and even then, it usually makes any big enemies flinch… although it gives no blowback so they essentially become invincible for a bit, which kinda sucks. Thoughts:1v1 versus; And this is where we discover one of Killer Girls main flaws; Boost Jump. Now some people love boost jump and some hate it. I, for one, am in the latter camp, I find it incredibly annoying since you cannot continually dodge about the stage and have to come down at some point. However, Killer Girl is so fast, you probably won’t even notice it as she can take off the ground very quickly and then fly for quite a while. Because of this, she is very well suited to 1v1; just dodge any enemy attacks and hope your B shot hits. It’s rather powerful and if one round of 5 hits, most of them will hit, so battles shouldn’t take too long. If the enemy comes close, use her X to blast them away since it should hit them fairly fast and get them away far. Alternatively, you could just use her X all the time to annoy, but this isn’t really fair, and the enemy might get a few hits in. 2v2 versus;Again, use the same tactic, try to dodge as much as possible, and use up all your B ammo, or try to use your X to annoy. 2v2 often exposes another flaw with Killer Girl; her insanely low hp and incredibly weak defence. She literally only lasts about 6 hits from an average borg; more from weaker, and only 3 from borgs such as Sirius. Because of this, you will have to keep switching between the two enemies in order to dodge all hits, as if she takes one, she gets stopped in her tracks; leaving her open to yet more attacks and, inevitably, her demise. Story;Guess what? Yet another flaw! She has a very high cost for what she is. I mean, the power of a 600 cost borg is there, but the hp stat is so low, you have to be sure you’re an ace at dodging, otherwise… she isn’t really worth it, especially when battles get hectic with about 4 enemies on one map. Member-submitted;Team-mates:Coincidentally, Shield witch could be quite good as a team-mate as bullets are the only thing Killer Girl should worry about, and her shields absorb all bullets fired by an enemy. Other borgs I’d suggest are annoyers like Slow Valkyrie, Ice Valkyrie, G Red and Sapphire Knight so that the enemy will focus on them whilst you dodge and shoot or any borgs that can set up like Gold Hero or Jet Hero. Killer Girl is quite annoying herself when darting about so the enemy may focus on her, allowing these kinds of borgs to get an advantage. In story mode, Mana’s going to be useless since you dart about too much so support borgs aren’t particularly good. Anyone else is fine, although I’d recommend Met since his team appears to be made up of annoyers. Counters:Anything with good accuracy like Sirius, or anything that’s very resilient like Isaac. You only really need to get a few hits on her, so something with great accuracy will do the job but you could also just run at her with Isaac since he won’t be blown back by her X, and then corner her and fire. Overall:Pros;+ Lovely Attacks + Very manoeuvrable and fast + Great design Cons;- High, high cost - Very low hp - Boost jump Tier:I think she should be either low down in the highest tier, or very high in the second highest. She really is great compared to the majority of borgs where you feel trapped in your movements, and it’s very rare that you get into a situation that she can’t handle.
