I watched the .hack//quantum OVAs last night, gotta say it was good, maybe not quite sign good, but it was only 3 "episodes" rather than the 13? (I want to say 26 but idt thats right either. 18 maybe?) That comprised sign.
Then theres legend of the twilight bracelet...(might as well since im on the topic right?) I saw the first episode and went "oooh an anime about kite and black rose? Schweet!" Then i realized they werent kite and black rose and hated it. Granted i suppose without that preconception it was decent?
Anywho quantum was good, had a solid plot even though i had no idea who anyone other than the main 3 characters were.

Did... did blazblue alter memory just sum up almost all of calamity trigger in 2 (perhaps 3) episodes without us realizing it? So alter memory is primaily a continum shift adaption? Wow that... was a ballsy move to say the least. Also Rachel yeah I get it, you can see timelines and stuff. Go talk to Valkenheyn or be a dick to Ragna some more that's what you're best at.

Gundam Build Fighters is just at its second episode. Even if you don't like Gundam, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Gotcha Force. It's more like Custom Robo, but either way, it's an anime about customized small robots battling it out in virtual simulations. Seems to have a lot of Gotcha Force's kiddy charm, too. It's just a light-hearted story of gunpla battles, building and battling. Dunno if it'll get much deeper than that, but it'll probably only happen near the end if it does. After all, it's a kids anime ala Gotcha Force, it's pretty enjoyable. And the part no one cares about, I'm very close to finishing Vandread. Gotta say it's amazing for a 2001 anime, it looks and feels like something modern. The art surpasses a lot of recent anime. Not that I only watch stuff because of the art (Gundam X). It's just one of the best animes I've ever seen... Hard to say why, but the story, characters, music, and everything are such a blast and memorable without actually achieving any milestones. I do know one thing, though, the second opening is so SSStylish! youtu.be/wSHuO7E3TGoOh, and mostly adding this 'cause of Riku, I finished watching Kaze no Stigma. It was pretty great.

Kill La kill just had an odd episode. Explained what composes the uniforms, something called 'life threads' and some more information in general. Still not entirely sure what exactly the life threads are, I'm going to guess that it's basically spiral power in physical form. They might have blown their load. Satsuki breaks into her mother's mansion (calling it now- her mother and possibly her father is going to turn out to be the main villain) and takes her Kamui without permision. Then she and Ryuko have an epic battle. Feels like they might have blown their load, but at least they establish that the show will indeed follow a strucure of having students come after Ryuko each episode, by flat out proclaiming it. But during the battle Ryuko comes to a realization that was presented very well, but I thought it was kind of funny that the realisation was 'I got to stop being embarrassed about this stupid fanserivice outfit and start treating it like a second skin' which is sort of like a lot of stories, 'becoming one' with your tool, except here it's phrased as 'I got to get naked.' Satsuki doesn't appear to be the murderer of Ryuko's father, though she's still being coy about it. My guess is that Satsuki's mother did it. Satsuki also apparently has 'ambitions' presumably world domination but the only person with power over her appears to be her mother. Her father was seen in a flash back but he doesn't appear to have any mention in the present, so my guess is that he died. Looks like I'll be turning kill la kill thoughts into a weekly thing now... Anyway, this episode feels like the conclusion to a prologue of sorts. All the pieces have been placed in their starting positions over this period of 3 episodes, so now it's time to see the game play itself out.

^Power in the Gurren Lagann universe is based on manliness and how loud you can yell. Power in the Kill la Kill universe is based on sexiness and how big your boobs are.
I do hope that they do more in the following episodes plotwise than just fighting the Bushido Blasters students one by one. But even if they don't, it'll probably still be entertaining.
Also watching Jormungand. It's definitely a nice change of pace from all the fantasy I've been watching lately e.g. Kill la Kill, Kyoukai no Kanata, Log Horizon, Legend of Korra.

About halfway through Avatar TLA's season 2. Fun stuff I'm hearing a lot of conflicting things about Korra, though. Guess I'll just have to judge for myself when I see it. Now that I'm done with SAO, my friends are trying to make me watch Once Upon a Time ... How do you guys manage to watch so many shows at once? :3

I also have way too much time to sit through many episodes of a series that interest me, and stick mainly to 12 to 24 episode shows with the only 50+ episode animes that I've ever watched in my life that come to mind being FMA, Code Geass and Soul Eater.

So, anyone hear about the new Gotcha Force anime? It's pretty nice so far.
Also a pretty unique choice of music for an opening, especially for Gundam Force. Usually J-Rock, but this style suits the lighthearted anime about kids battling with robots just striving to become a Gotcha Champion. It's a nice song.

Kill La Kill had a genuinely amazing episode just now, I'm surprised that Uzu of the elite 4 ended up being my new favorite. Besides Satsuki herself obviously, she's just completely amazing. That said I'm fairly certain that the other 3 star students will be similarly fleshed out. Also caught a glimpse of Satsuki's mother in a place that dwarfs the academy (and that's saying something) whilst looking infinitely more gaudy. You don't get a good look but she herself looks like the middle aged rich lady type who wears far too much makeup and jewlery. Wasn't considering that since Satsuki doesn't look at all similar. The city also looks completely different to the one the show mostly takes place in. What kind of world is this? Also would you look at that, the males actually got dwelt on far more this episode in terms of nudity. Uzu gets a transformation scene presented just like a magical girl transformation like Ryuko's, but it lasts a lot longer and less is censored. His ass is very prominent. Satsuki's hair also censors her shower scene. Of course Mikisugi is amazing as always. But man, Uzu, just Uzu- he seems pathetic after a mid episode defeat and then he goes and SEWS HIS EYES SHUT IN ORDER TO HEIGHTEN HIS OTHER SENSES AND BEAT RYUKO. HOLY CRAP. His ultimate uniform transformation is also very reminiscent of the beastmen's gundams from Gurren Lagann. I love this show. But why isn't the head of the sewing club a member of the elite 4? Just saying. He arguably has the most important job in the entire academy besides being the leader. I mean just saying, he makes all the weapons of mass destruction which the elite 4 use in the first place. Also saw BBAM episode 6. I don't remember that hotspring part in the game. Just saying. No Hazama or Relius turning up in person also makes me sad. Kokonoe was awesome though, and she was rocking her new battle theme from chrono phantasama in her scene. Wow using chrono phantasma music THAT fast? It is an amazing tune though.I'm surprised at how much exposure Rachel is getting, for all her talk of being a mere 'observer' she certainly hangs around all the characters in nearly every scene, bearing in mind that most of the characters aren't talking to each other most of the time, interacting with them and usually impacting them heavily (this is what happens when you can teleport yourself and others anywhere instantly whilst still whilst still having enough screen time to be quietly sipping tea and talking about how little impact you're supposedly permitted to have.) Anyway, she's practically the narrator for the entire thing. Cool little thing I noticed- The first few episodes of the show that covered Calamity trigger used still images from the first episode in its opening. Fairly lazy, but in the newer episodes post Calamity Trigger the opening has changed to a unique animation. Makes me wonder if the reused clips were placed there specifically to create that feeling of Dejavu, which now isn't necessary since that loop gets broken, allowing time to progress. Oh, and why the heck are they calling Nox Nyctores 'Archenemies' in the sub? I'm pretty sure the characters are even saying Archenemies in the voice acting. IN ENGLISH. ? Why change that! Blazblue's mythos is annoying enough to remember as it is without having nouns changed! Archenemies imply that the weapons are humans. Then again, I suppose they are forged using human souls and were originally created for combating the black beast... in other words, the black beast's archenemy. Nox Nyctores still sounds better and it makes more sense.

I haven't watched a new anime since Dangan Ronpa, and before then...it was about 8-ish months.

^*cue world screaming like fangirls* Just finished the finale for Turnabout Storm ... so much deepness ... And now I wanna finish ATLA ... How far along in ATLA are you now? On topic, watched the first two episodes of Kyousougiga. Whattheheckisgoingonidon'tknowifiwanttokeepwatchingbutapparentlyit'sgood? Edit: Now that I'm done with SAO, my friends are trying to make me watch Once Upon a Time ... How do you guys manage to watch so many shows at once? :3 I tend to watch 1 or 2-cour shows, so in the time it takes me to watch 60 episodes of ATLA, I would have watched 4 or 5 shorter shows. The only long shows I've ever watched are Avatar (61), part of D. Grayman (88), and 2 seasons of Shana (48). Also, lately I've been watching shows that are currently airing, so if I say I'm watching shows A and B one week, and the next week I'm watching show C, I haven't watched 30 episodes in a week. It's more like I watched episode 1 of A and B the first week, then episode 2 of A and B the next week plus 2 episodes of C. Edit 2: And I just realized I gave almost the same answer as Al. Like almost exactly the same. Well, I guess that makes sense.

Dark World is amazing! Too much laughs though. They kinda ruined some serious moments. There is a scene after the first credits, and a scene after the second credits.

How far along in ATLA are you now? The last one finished was Ep. 51 (Day of Black Sun). So, almost there. Almost Then for Korra! My friends are watching it with me, which makes it slower since we have to line up with each other's schedules, too :3 I guess it makes sense that it's much easier to watch multiple shows when you're actually following them along, not trying to catch up on them all at once. XD

BAM! ATLA is done! Oh yeah, and first episode of Pokemon Origins was different, but good. It's strange how you can't get Professor Oak and Gary's voices out of your head after growing up with them and suddenly Blue/Green and Prof. Oak have totally new voices :3
