It is a shame i can't show a screen shot of this problem. When i turn my PC on i get a message saying "Internal Hard-Drive Failure Imminent" About 3 hours later (not an exaggeration) it will load up but have problems.
My questions:
1. Does anyone know of a way i can scan my Hard-Drive for broken files and then fix them?
2. What does the Hard-Drive, as a piece of Hardware look like? I've been thinking about simply buying a new one seeing as thats the whole reason my PC is messed up.
My PC and what i know...
1. ? (Some black thing that sucks air in)
2. ? (A huge green chip with bits sticking out)
3. ? (This metal thing with a green chip stuck under it)
4. ? (A long metal thing that blows out air)
5. My floppy disk drive (ancient...)
6. My C-Drive
So, does anyone know what numbers 1-4 are and where my actual Hard Drive is?
I'd rather not buy another Hard-Drive as right now i cant afford it. Also i don't know a thing about building computers or what Hard-Drive I'd need. If anyone knows how i can repair it, that would be a great help.
