...well, the show just started, and im treated to a crotch shot of a girl wearing microshorts.
and why do i need to know the hip and breast dimensions of a 10, 14 and 17 year old? whats the point? its like in a fighting game manual where they give you the fighters blood type, except you cant just look at someone and say "youre b positive arent you?"
whatever, i guess im pretty ethnocentric.

The Air Gear anime is good for one thing, and one thing only: the music. Well, that and mumble mumble uncensored Simca. Seriously though, listen to this stuff. Manga started off fantastic, but Oh!Great fell into his usual habit of bogging down his stories with endless unresolved subplots, waaaaaay too much melodrama, and generally losing sight of what made his manga so likeable in the first place. Air Gear, more than any other work of art, truly captured the feeling of true freedom, soaring through the air, unrestrained by the confines of gravity. If the series ever regains that spark, I'll give it another chance. |

I thought for a second Loopy started this topic. By the way, halfway through the first episode and about the fifth(so far, i'm only on 8) there are uncensored bits with only a bird as a censor for one part below the waist.
My mind....it just blew...

loved the begging of it, then it started to get weird. I dont hate what they are doing, it just seems so far from what it started out to be. I still read and watch it however as its still a freaking awesome series lol. On a side not Kazu rules.

I finished this in a two day span and thought it was so awesome Im gonna start reading the manga to see what happened after the last episode

Oh, I forgot to mention I watched this a while ago. One episode.
Music was fine, but generally I found it quite dull... and no amount of ecchi for girls who dont seem all that attractive will make me think otherwise. Just eh.

Very few animes can be well judged by the first few episodes. This is one of those animes. At least watch to episode 5 |

Name one good reason why I should. Hint: GOOD reason. Even though there's lots of ecchi and cussing, it actually has a very good plot, involving freedom. Its good. Just trust me when I say aside from the ecchi and cussing it's great. |
