Lately I've been noticing how quiet it is in this forum site and even in the discord server. I guess that's what happens when it's a discord server/forum for a game with a cult following lol

Unfortunately so. Still love the game but there's not much I can say that I haven't already said before lol

Alas people have moved on to other things in life. I'm so busy these days I forget to even check in sometimes. I still like the game of course, but without new blood to spur discussion, the only thing left to talk about is game tech and code which flies over the heads of most people. And the rps and such died out too.

Really, I'm just glad I was here while it was still somewhat alive.

Monster Hunter Rise has taken over my life, I'm afraid.

Still, for the forum to live for, what, 11-12 years, is nothing short of miraculous. Still will be a Gotcha-fan for life. Having Sirius the Borg as my online identity all these years and those to come is proof of that.

I've actually been playing other games that aren't Gotcha Force so maybe I lost interest in it. Maybe it's a phase? I dunno. I might play it every now and again though.

Yeah, much like the others have said I've kinda just moved past it at this point. I still play Gotcha Force a couple times a year and think about this site regularly, and cherish the friendships I've made here.

I've been speedrunning a lot the last year and a half or so. Set a few IL world records and now I'm grinding for a top 20 time in Sonic Adventure 2's Dark Story. Outside of that, just working on finishing my accounting degree (two classes away now) and playing some other games like Monster Hunter Rise.

It's been nice. I'm going to be fully entering the adult world soon enough and it's a little scary, but it's finally that time.
