I made an account on this forum just to ask you a question:
how do you rip the models from the game? I've been also ripping models from the game and the way I rip the models is pretty much a pain as I rip them using 3DRipperDX and then fixing up the model to a T-Pose and making a rig from scratch. It's hell to do but in the end it just works and I do get exceptional results out of that. I've been trying to rip the models from the game's cryptic-ass filesystem but never had any luck with doing so. Ninjaripper also doesn't give any good results too, breaking up the model to a deformed mess or to a deconstructed mess. I've been searching the entire internet for other people also ripping from the game and how they do it and saw that you've been ripping too.
Are you capable of ripping the models from the game with it's actual in-game rig and/or T-pose?

The process is greuling but Ive gotten better at it over the years to just rip models its rather simple 3D Ripper DX- Dolphin 32Bit Set to DX9 version (in graphics) if that setup is correct then you should see text in top left of starting game ready to rip or something along lines once you pressed ripped button (program is cack as you know designated keys and locations of files arnt what it says) my comp its F11 to rip models this rips em to C Drive. frames inside folder will be 3DR/OBJ import the file you wish into modeling program I import models into Unity now and resize there. you can also run dump textures on emulator find the dumped textures and just drag and drop on obj model. sadly the models are ripped like a frozen moment in time, not tposed nor no easy fix. ontop of that the geometry is really messed up so even if you rig in blender it will be something from your nightmares in Unity the only way I can see a mojer step in Gotcha Game remake is if someone cracks that encryption on the rarc/arc files on gamecube iso. if we had access to the models via non ripping method, there would be 101 gotcha force game remakes now, the focus should really be getting past that encryption but failing that come to www.facebook.com/groups/GFenergyunitealways pushing the Gotcha Boundary
