 This borg is so fun! Pretty good, too; that head hits really hard, able to one-shot most of the more frail borgs in the game. Other than the head it's like playing a Magnet Robot without the Magnet ability (which is fine; the magnet ability is terrible), so since the head's so good I'm going to give it a 6. |

It's very specialized. I'll give it a 7, even though it can also be more like a 3. Depends on what it's fighting. But going for maximum potential, it can totally destroy certain borgs, especially larger ones that can't dodge the Megaton Spinner easily (most Machines), and frailer bots that are more mid-close range. It needs to make its throws count, though, or it will just end up chasing its own head until it dies... Plus, it just looks awesome. It's pretty much something you'd see in Gurren Lagann.  |

I love this borg, his unique mechanic is fun, and it's extra fun in hyper mode! I'll give him an 8 because he can get ride of the big guys pretty easily like you all have mentioned.

I really need to play this game more. I'm not sure what to rate this one! I wonder if there's a good way to deal with the more nimble borgs…

Honestly, he's not really my playstyle. Quite a few "Robot" borgs aren't. Infact, for a large majority of the game, the "Girl", "Knight", "Ninja", and "G" borgs were my best. Tries a "Death Borg" only run...Not fun. It's mostly DODGE EVERYTHING kinda gameplay. On the bright side, they are so cheap that you can outlive most "Suicide" borg missions.
As for Megaton Robot, to me Slow and has a lot of opportunity for both being punished and dishing out punishment. Strong when it lands, but the head is so easy to dodge, and the rest of his attacks are Par for the course. There are plenty of better Borgs out there, but there are plenty that will get wrecked by him as well. I give this bot a 5/10.

The feeling of landing his X attack is 10/10. Without his X attack, he's just a Magnet Robot.
So it basically cancels out.

XD Anywho Regarding Megaton, besides having a cool name (10/10, would reuse the name for something else.) he is interesting, between getting in close with his head smash to hit the more nimble borgs, or picking them off from behind as they attack your partner, and his melee attacks, he is rather monstrous at close range, but it's sadly selective, and the head is dodgeable at point blank, so.... yea, unless you use the machine gun to get them to dodge and hit them with the head mid dodge, yea... 6/10 |
