Let's Rate and Talk About #61: Magnet Robot (+)

Ah, Magnet Robot. The shining staple of terribleness upon this game. One of the most common borgs, yet unlike the other common borgs it sucks.
Like, a lot.
I gave it a 2. Its rarer counterpart is actually usable unlike it.

Minus is 10 points more but shoots the infinitely more viable lasers as opposed to Plus's wimpy bullets.

Man. I dig this borg. A lot. It's got good meleee, decent speed and it's magnet both makes bringing that melee to bear easier, as well as makes it harder for the enemy to react to that great beam.
What? No beam?! Oh this is Magnet Robot Plus? Garbage. Pinker Bot is better.

The melee is good, and against weaker borgs (ie the death force) its shot isn't THAT atrocious...

The X attack is plain annoying tho, it's easily countered by spamming melee or an X attack just before you get into range of Magnet's melee, plus... kitsune (?) sucks with this thing, often getting me killed because he pulls you right into an attack, thanks for using me as a meat shield, useless ally who can't win on his own.

Also shiny magnet robot + could have been red, with all the other megaman homages in GF, he would have been perfect for magnet man, opportunity missed Capcom.

That nets this Borg, a 3, out of 10.
