It did look very interesting, quite a number of friends of mine are really hyped about it.
However I hope that they won't have to compromise on some of the hardware components in order to make it as portable as they showcase in the trailer. Not to say that hardware decides everything, but a valid concern I think.
The new Zelda, Mario Kart and the updated(?) Splatoon gameplay looked very nice.

Mario Kart is probably just some sort of "ultimate" edition that comes with all the DLC. They were driving on GCN Yoshi's Island, but they had two items at a time so we know it's at least getting an update. Someone also said Splatoon had to be updated/new because of different hairstyles or something, but I don't know much about that.
That said, I'm very excited. The games look even more beautiful than on the Wii U and that's saying something, and I really like the innovation here. The fact that the console is a full, powerful console while also being two controllers and a portable is really cool.

Nintendo said that the 'NX' wouldn't be replacing the Wii U or 3DS, and what they mean't by that is that it'll be replacing both simultaniously. xD I don't care for it too much, when the games are there then I'll consider getting one, not that I have an abundence of time for games anyway. xD

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how much of a paradigm shift this is for me, actually. Like, no more of the "nope you can't play Zelda anymore 'cause you gotta go to school." You can BRING IT WITH YOU. AND PLAY IT DURING LUNCH. WHAT.  That airplane bit really got me XD |

I think if Gotcha Force was re-released on the switch with some kind of online function I'd be sold on the console. But that's an even bigger dream than it being on the VC anyway. xD
