Hey guys just wanted to thank the people who helped me with the ps1 emulator issues I was having but now I'm having slight lag issues with my ppsspp emulator...it works great on my laptop but for about a second the frame rate dramatically drops causing my game to stop for a second or two and continues to run smoothly again..this happens periodically ..is there a way to fix it? I have version 1.2.1 that seems to work the best with my laptop. Here's my laptop info gotchaforcefan.proboards.com/attachment/download/556

This happens on my laptop whenever my charger falls out because it sucks.

Yeah... you had the same issue with the other emulator. Neither are particularly known for slowdowns in intervals. I still say it sounds like some process is briefly stuttering your CPU/RAM.
Otherwise, just mess around with all the options that list speedup, or that disable things, check the sound plugin, play around with the System tab, too. Try both Direct9 and OpenGL. There's a lot of stuff that can really change the speed and minor issues, and it varies by game. There aren't really any extra plugins to download or anything.
Still, while you can try all that, I doubt it's an issue from the emulator, though it can help of you get enough speedup anyway. Check Windows Update, and other official processes, or ones you may not be sure of, because those can be detrimental too. iTunes and other syncing/refreshing programs as well.

How do I find out which process is stuttering my cpu/ram? Do I look through the taskbar?
