Shield Witch! You know, the 330 Cost borg that's a better Guard Witch.
I give her a 7. Her support is interesting and invaluable. Melee borgs benefit greatly from her support and she can hold her own (by which I mean "not die") pretty well.

Also a 7. I really wanna play around with her more, she could be really OP in some circumstances. :3
...I'm presuming her shield doesn't work on Ultimate Cannon much, though ... XD

Am I the only one here who just doesn't care for these kind of support borgs? XD I don't really see how she's invaluable 'cause you can just be good at side stepping and moving around but I guess there are multiple ways of playing this game. Is there something I'm missing?

No, trust me, most of us actually hate these borgs. As for why it's useful...think about slow borgs. I'm not talking about ninjas. Think more like Vampire Knight or Chrono Samurai. Two borgs that normally have to play very patient and campy are now suddenly able to be agressive.

But then I just feel like your team mate could also be using something good instead XD

If you think Shield Witch is terrible we're not going to get anywhere in this argument because you'll just say "couldn't your teammate use a strong attacking borg instead?"

If you think Shield Witch is terrible we're not going to get anywhere in this argument because you'll just say "couldn't your teammate use a strong attacking borg instead?" It's not that I don't see the benefits of this kind of strategy, like turtling and camping are great strategy's in most things. I just never saw the use of it in Gotcha Force because the way I've always played the game is super rush down. But I can defiantly see the benefits on certain match ups! Like if it was a team of dragons or fortresses then I can see it working. Though I have no idea how strong her shield actually is XD But then it could also work to both be playing projectile characters.. I know I just end up saying that using a strong attacker is better but I guess that's because from what I've experienced it just makes more sense. When it comes down to it, the Shield Witch is giving you a buff at the cost of her having zero offensive powers :S

I haven't been gone for months, what are you talking about? Crazy talk, that!
That said, Shield Witch is a support borg, which gives her, from my single-player oriented perspective, two ratings.
Playing as: 5/10. Support borgs are HIDEOUSLY BAD to play as. The AI is to braid dead to do anything of worth even when supported, and when they eventually dumb themselves out of existence, you are left with a borg that either cant' fight, or can't do so well. There are a few exceptions, and Shield Witch, despite her inferior color scheme to Guard Witch is one of these. Her attacks moves at a decent speed and do alright damage, and her staff can hurt. On top of that, her shields make enemy ranged attacks pointless one way or another, and so let you magic them to death with minimal difficulty. If you must play a support character yourself, go for Shield Witch, or her little sister, Guard Witch, but there are many better choices.
As a Partner: 7/10. But the AI does strangely well as support borgs. I have more than a few battles because I had a Support boosting my speed, making me bigger or healing me. And fittingly, this is where Shield Witch shines as well. As previously said, certain borgs have an uphill battle against ranged heavy borgs. But with that Gatling Gunner's bullets not leaving his gun, your Beam Samurai can run up and slice him down. This is Shield Witches real purpose shutting down, or declawing enemies so certain borgs who would otherwise have a bad time can shine.
