I love video games! Not only do they allow me to escape and have fun but they also inspire my art, my way of thinking, and even sometimes inspire me to become a better person 
There are literally too many video games that I love and adore but I really wanted to look back and reflect of what video games/series have impacted my life...
I can honestly say that Kingdom Hearts is what truly inspired me to really pursue my passion for art and writing. Kingdom Hearts was the first game I played that I actually believed I was within the world. Beautiful story and themes that made me care deeply for this series and the game play is nearly perfect <3 I'm going to gush for a moment here and say that what made me really enjoy the game play was having back up battle with...seeing my favorite disney characters I've grown up with actually getting down and fighting was such a cool experience as well!
Warmth, laughter, happiness, smiles, and tears....these are just a few of the emotions/feelings that colored my heart while playing and completing this series. At first glance I thought nothing of this trilogy...I thought Ness looked stupid when I seen him in Smash Bros..little did I know that Earthbound would become one of top favorite games of all time! I was bored one day and decided to give it a go..the music, story, and gameplay felt so out of place, I too started to feel out of place...physically I was on earth but mentally and emotionally I was somewhere much more beautiful <3 I don't want to give too much away to the story because you really should play them from the beginning to end to get the true experience of Mother.
Last but certainly not least is a game I'm sure most everyone has heard of by now called Undertale....It was last year in October that I was watching a youtuber by the name of Mandopony playing this game...he was on the first level so nothing was spoiled for me and I thought it looked fun and quirky and was in the mood to play something that spiritually felt like Mother. Downloaded the game, started it up, and stayed up past my normal time of going to bed beating it from start to finish. I just could not put it down...I was addicted. The characters, story, game play, emotions it was the whole package! Not only did this game have great music but the character chemistry is JUST SO PERFECT....I will not give any thing away please play this game if you haven't already This game brought me closer to my brother inspired me to get back into my art and just made feel so Darn good :')
My main appeal for me to get invested into a video game is the story, characters and their chemistry with each other, and the emotion...I nerded out about the games that have had the biggest impact on my life what about you guys? What was the one game or many that just hit you hard and inspired you or impacted your life?
