debating between 7 and 8/10 he fits half of my attack style well. he is one of 2 Borgs that dosnt need Nao. all he has to do is go at enamies as if his life depends on it (half of my attack style) i dont think he is all that quick. but he regenerates when you attack making Normal Samurai look useless.

10/10 would slay dragons again. Major points for design, too I put down 8/10 because besides big things Vlad has pretty much all the troubles that samurais have. Plus it's a dodge-heavy game so he wouldn't have that great a time. Still scary to go close range against him, though.

The way Vlad is made is incredibly good, as he plays like the glacier character archetype, in that his neutral game is awful and he gets zoned out hard while getting massive reward if he gets in on his opponent, but without the typical flaw of that class's very poor movement. Against human players using very agile borgs with good long ranged options, Vlad's going to have a very difficult time, as the longer he gets zoned out, the more damage he takes, but every time he gets in he's getting at least 50 HP back. 8/10. Very solid, especially for the fairly low cost and high health/mobility.

He's good but I wouldn't put him up there with the greats, and by the greats I mean anyone faster than him or with flying. Still, he's pretty fast and has great survivability against slower enemies, all for the low low cost of only 330 GFE!
7/10

I'm fairly disappointed that everybody dislikes the mobility of Vlad. He has an interesting mechanic like most samurai borgs in that his cross slash can extend his dashes by simply dashing again. It makes him a little faster while throwing protection in. It also puts him in the air, allowing for a dash air attack. Also. it sets up for the immediate landing strike. It provides a flexible reach of all melee capabilities, as well as closing in. His range is terrible. Far range is no go, but he can close distances on the ground fairly quickly.
Granted compared to other borgs at his price. -within 50- He's probably top in that range. Simply because he is his own support, he has a healing. at the cost of a verrrry slow DoT. In which 3 air attack combos can replenish to 75% in Hyper it takes 2 to full hp.
One of my favorite borgs. Trying not to be biased. Any long range attack at a vertical angle above 60 degrees is harder to pull off. (there is a trick where you can start t he slash and go completely under them and get it to aim at them directly. But from 60-80 the aim does not work) Also The homing doesn't kick in if they aren't close enough. Definitely mid range. Once mid range though, he can close distance super quick ( I'll make a Vlad showcase someday explaining some of these things)
I've cleared most of story mode with A solo Vlad/vampire knight. It took a ton of practice. The only battles I couldn't compete in were the sho battles, and one of the Orochi ones. The galactic emperor wasn't easy. (I'm not sure I can count it since I just tanked and stalled until Death arc came, and just broke the brain shield and hid next to the death arc. took maybe an hour for one fight.)
8/10 Great build. Great design, concept, and function. Needs one more thing and he could be way better like an X charge or B charge.

As cool as I think Vlad is, it's just too easy to camp in this game, especially against a samurai-type borg :/
Thus, all the Angel-type borgs as well as the Air borgs have an advantage, ninjas and girl borgs have better mobility, leaving gun borgs, knights, and fellow samurai as the remaining borgs that Vlad can go toe to toe with.
The main thing is his unique niche as a giant borg slayer, because otherwise killing Fortress borgs and Big Dragons is really scary, so he definitely has a job here, but besides that he's a tad less than average because of his HP loss and low-ish HP.

One of the best melee borgs out there. Cool as hell. Purple. Vlad is also the signature borg of my favorite commander.
