Looks like it. Horror games aren't a genre I really play, I'm unfamiliar with Fatal Frame, I've got lots of stuff to do, I've been spending a lot of money recently, and the reviews have been mixed. Sorry friend.

Horror games are cliche, full of jump scares that don't scare me at the time but remove my ability to sleep well for several nights, and since the scariest things are things you can't expect, horror games aren't exactly my idea of fun.

Horror games are cliche, full of jump scares that don't scare me Project Zero/Fatal Frame are pure Japanese horror, no western-style jump scares. The Japanese are the horror masters by far. You feel claustrophobic, hunted/stalked when nothing might not even be there, on edge all the time, it's horror bliss.

They use the effect of what is "meant" to scare you to keep you paranoid that something will scare you. I'm not saying it doesn't have some good thought to it, but the games feel very "same-y" to me. Besides, a game that makes me feel like I'm about to die is not my idea of bliss. You have fun, of course, I'm just explaining why I'm not interested.
