I REEEALLY want this game. I've always been a fan of level creation, especially in this case because it's Mario! The controls look so intuitive, and the nostalgia factor... SO GOOD. I think I'd have a heart attack doing that level haha. I'm glad there's no stupid gimmick like auto-scrolling; Panga just wanted to make sure you had the techniques down. It really does deserve the spot as the hardest level

I've had this game for a while, but I spent most of my time playing the 100 Mario challenge to unlock costumes and stuff. I don't like how the level editor locks things away, including game themes, until you've played it enough. So far I haven't had much inspiration, though I was dabbling in the idea of trying to create some kind of horror experience from the perspective of a goomba, thanks to the goomba costume.

You are the last person I'd expect to buy this; and before me no less. Also it only takes 2 hours or so to unlock everything. Just place all the new objects on a level and place a ton of blocks and you'll get a new unlock every 15 minutes. By the 5th theme you have almost everything you need. I've made two legit levels (one's a puzzle/mindgame level, the other's an action level) and a few other random crap levels.

Here's one of my several stupid levels so you can find me and follow my dumb stuff. A233-0000-007B-6E82 Have fun, and know that I like bullet hopping a bit too much (it plays a prominent role in three of my levels.)

THE DREAM IS REAL BOYS MAKE YOUR OWN MARIO LEVELS MAKE YOUR FRIENDS WANT TO KILL YOU See the trouble with Mario Maker is that people have actually been doing exactly that since as long ago as 2004, maybe even earlier. In the grand scheme of things it's nice in that it gives that option to the common Wii U owner (and is also unquestionably legal), but overall it's rather limited in comparison to the tools people have already been using for years.

It also makes it easy/possible to share my levels with people and try theirs in return. Up until this game I'd actually been using a flash game called Super Mario Flash (1 & 2). It's really terrible in that it can lock up and you lose the level you're making. And you can't drag bricks, you have to place/delete them one at a time. Mario Maker is a much appreciated game. And since Nintendo says it feels like Mario Maker marks the end of traditional Mario games, I'm interested in seeing where they take him next.

Yup, I had been using that too. Really? NO WAY! Do you still have any of your old level codes? I saved mine in word docs so I could email my levels to my friends.
