So I stumbled across this game, and at first I was all "ooh lookie here an action platformer." Then I saw some gameplay and I was all like "WOOOOAH" super descriptive, I know. So it's a platformer that takes Megaman's platforming style, Smash Bros's fighting style, and Custom Robo/Cosmic Break's parts collecting + upgrade style and puts it all into one fun game. I really hope that there are more games like this in the future, because I loves me some freedom of movement

^ Can be found on Steam here, demo is on Kongregate here! :D Doesn't seem like it's gonna be released on anything but PC & mac though. Just been playing the demo for the past half hour, really enjoying it! Only complaint is the controls kinda suck. But the gameplay and style makes up for that ;D

Yeah I like the fact that you can do both co-op and versus with it ^^ and since you can save robot builds, you have so much freedom over your characters you can get it on Steam. I think you can run it on PC, Mac, and Linux I do wish it was on consol, though as well edit:normal ninja'd edit edit: Oh yeah so I really hate the default controls. here's mine: WASD = movement J = normal attack K = special attack L = jump Space = shield Enter = inventory

Oh woah, those controls sounds waayyyy better! I didn't realise you could customize them, gonna do that!
Edit: It has gamepad support! That's made this game infinity times better :P

There was a topic about this, with the same exact name, heheh.
I played it a good time ago, but it couldn't catch my interest for long, despite it being a great game, and I was really for that Cosmic Break style. I disagree with the correlations to Smash, though... Loved the customization.
Anyway, it was great, but I just can't get into single player games much anymore...

haha I searched for this game before i posted the thread, but I guess its in the graveyard or somethingI think it's really close to smash because of the poke-heavy combo game, the two-button fighting style, and the damage-proportionate knockback + blast zone kills. But you're right in the sense that the stages are waaaaaayy bigger, no ledges and customizations ^^ EDIT: nvm found the other thread in PC Games creds to Spike for finding it first Edit: It has gamepad support! That's made this game infinity times better YEAH PAD PLAYERS UNITE

Looks pretty fun. I'll keep a lookout for if/when it goes on sale. Got a big backlog plus I already know I'm gonna get BoI:Afterbirth when it comes out.

So is it just me or is the Submachine-gun Arm like really strong? I'm kinda curious as to what builds everyone likes using right now, even if you just started. Right now my build is: Head: teleportation (neutral special) Arm: drill (down special) Arm: submachine gun (side special) Core: jetpack (up special) Shoulder: +speed Hip: +1 extra jump Leg: +speed Leg: +speed with 3 jumps and 3 moving specials, I can fly for dayyyyys
