i was checking trough gotcha force japanes site today and i stumbled upon the drawings/sketches they have (man capcom must really have loved this game, so much detail on everything) anyways, i found out pics of some characters that didnt made the cut, mina between them (mana sister) and i was wondering how do you think this guys would have been? like what kind of borgs would they have used, and cant help but wonder what would it have been like if mina would have been the antagonist (as wikipedia states) also, which version of the chars you like more? theres a sho with a bowl hair cut, funny. heres the link to the pics, mana sister is the last one: www.capcom.co.jp/gotchaforce/warehouse/old_05.html#px0also a big pic of mana's sister, mina:

Quite honestly, I'm glad Mina didn't make it, and I'm certainly glad she wasn't the antagonist, otherwise cool people like Thadudette might not have noticed this game. Dunno why, but I'm fairly confident I would dislike Mina. It would've been neat with other added characters though. A good reason to release a sequel Capcom!!!!!!Edit: had to fix massive typo...

Thadudette might not have noticed this game. Not neccessarily. I wouldn't have started playing Gotcha at all if my brother hadn't made me. I think this pic expresses Mina's would-be antagonism better.

Altough mina does look cool as an antagonist, im glad she didnt make it for one reason, orochi/rin, she would have probably not been in the game if that was the case, but yes, a sequel with mina as an antagonist and more characters would rock xD

I reckon they should make a sequel with different characters but still retaining some. Like Digimon did after season whatever.

I think this pic expresses Mina's would-be antagonism better. I think she looks like a good girl, ready to fight.

I was actually the one who put Mina into wikipedia Mina looks too good to be an antagonist. I doubt she could have a good "brainwashed by the Galactic Emperor" look.

^Nice although I think she could have been the main antagonist. It would give the game a creepy feel if she was more like a living doll.

To be honest, she would've made an awesome playable partner in Gotcha Force.
I can imagine it now
Epic tag team battle: Kou and Sho vs Mana and Mina Rivals vs Sisters

Epic tag team battle: Kou and Sho vs Mana and Mina *starts imagining Advance Wars : Dual Strike CO Powers-esque version of power bursts*

I think it would have been good if Mina and other peoples family were in the game, but they wern't GF Commanders. Instead they could just be on the side. For example there could be missions where you fight to save them from being attacked by the Death Force.

^ That's a neat idea. Side-quest rescues would be neat indeed.

That would be quite good actually. Imagine if they appeared in the battlefield with a hp bar and you had to stop them from taking hits.

^Yeah but not stomping, just in one spot, like if you had to save mana in her bedroom she would be standing there and you have to protect her.
Or perhaps it could be Mystery Dungeon-esque where certain borgs appear to fight alongside you but if they die, you lose.

^Yeah, that makes sense, but what if the person you're rescuing ISN'T a GF Commander? Do you just protect their feet while they stand in a room or something?

^Yeah
Have you ever seen Tom & Jerry?
Well you know how you only see the feet of humans, well, like that.

Maybe they wouldn't stand in the battle. They could just be on the mission screen like the others.
Maybe they could be tough battles that give you 100 GF Energy.
