So Nintendo have been advertising, minimally, this 3DS game that is coming out called Little Battlers eXperience. It is a game that seems to be a cross between Gotcha Force and Custom Robo where you collect toys which you can customize and fight in an arena. I imagine that this might appeal to many here. Sadly though it seems like the game is getting massively overlooked so it might become at most a cult classic like Gotcha Force. Here is a video of it though that features the first 60 minutes of gameplay from a livestream that Nintendo themselves helped out with

I just about peed my pants when I saw this was on sale for pre-orders in the 3DS shop, first because I already needed the bathroom and because this is probably as close as we're gonna get to Gotcha Force 3DS, and I really enjoyed the 10 episodes I watched of the anime. I'm still deciding what to do with my eShop money but this is definitely a high contender :3 I'll try to give the video a watch tomorrow There's already a thread on LBX in the TV board, but I'll tentatively leave this here since we're technically talking about the game and not the anime ... *shrug*

Definitely gonna check this out, saw it a while ago (was it at E3?) and I'm super pumped! Love Custom Robo and I also quite like Gotcha Force, surprisingly :P

^No way, you've played Gotcha Force too?!?!?!?!?! Watched the video and I'm pretty hyped Though I'm not totally sure I'm sold yet, since I have a bunch of other games to finish that I'm not going to have time to finish anytime soon so LBX may have to wait some time ...

I've already recommended this a lot of times before, but I recommend this. The games are a surprisingly top-quality series, it's a very long game full of story and content. The gameplay is fun, but the most fun thing is how much customization you have (tons), aesthetic, equipment, stats-wise. Sadly, this isn't the sequel... But to anyone that likes Gotcha Force, this deserves a try, it's a great action-RPG.

Well, the sequel is... a sequel. So naturally, there's some gameplay updates. Objectively, that's not to say it's better, but... some of the changes made the gameplay more fluid and exciting to me. No real reason to skip out on the first one.

...I caved in and bought it Haven't started yet but I'm excited Oh my goodness it takes up like a million blocks Plus apparently the anime is based off the game, not the other way around, and apparently the game goes into the story and setting a lot deeper than the anime. Which is another reason I'm excited to play this, since it's not just a cheapy spinoff of the anime solely for marketing purposes

It probably will be a while before I get it, since my next purchase will be the Heavensward expansion for Final Fantasy XIV. Honestly I am not really leaping out of my seat to get it once I learned it doesn't have online multiplayer.

Maybe they were having connectivity issues. A game like Smash ends up lagging half the time, so imagine what a game like this would do.
The best we can hope for is that MP will be added later in an update, once they figure out how to make it work.

Because it's a game originally on PSP, which rarely had any games with online play. The 3DS version is just a port with some extra content, and they were probably too lazy to program in something big like that.
Like, if Gotcha Force got a Wii U port, you wouldn't really expect online play, right?

*extremely vague spoilers which probably don't even need the spoiler tag but I thought I'd throw it on anyways* WHAT WHAT HE JUST DIED AND SHE JUST SHOT THAT DUDE AND HE'S A CYBORG OR SOMETHING WHAT'S GOING ON I THOUGHT THIS WAS GONNA BE HAPPY AND FLUFFY :3
But I'm really enjoying this game; the massive customization kind of intimidated me at first but I'm getting the hang of it I think I really wish it had online multiplayer too, though

This *really* should not be as funny as it is to me It's probably because Jin/Justin is always so serious ... Or that I should go to sleep ... I say that a lot here ...
