Attention everyone! Do you like Gundam?! Do you like arena fighters like Virtual On, or Gotcha Force (the later should be obvious)? Are you not afraid of importing games?! Then try considering getting Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost, the newest console version of the long running Gundam Vs. games, where Gundams from practically every series up to Gundam 00 and Unicorn fight each other in 2 vs 2 matches. I got a copy late last year and I absolutely love the game. It is a must for any Gundam fan and for any fan who loves the gameplay of Virtual On and Gotcha Force. Like I said before though, you will need to import a new copy and create a japanese PSN to play online, but it is absolutely worth it. You can read more about it here as well as links to twitch streams and videos: Neogaf Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost thread

I almost got it when I first got my PS3 for import heaven. Stuck with Another Century's Episode: R though. I think a PS3 release of Maxi Boost may be around the corner... So I've been waiting for that one. It has the AGE units which are my favorites. Well, aside from Kyrios, which has never been playable in the series.

Even though there hasn't been a release date announced, it obvious there is going to be a console release of Maxi Boost. Yeah, I wish they had the Kyrios, or better yet the Harute from the movie, but at least it has the Arios with the GN Archer. This might be a bit off topic but have you seen AGE? If so, what did you think of it?

The Maxi Boost arcade literally runs off the PS3 hardware, so all they have to do is put it on a disc and a box. So it's almost a given that it will be ported eventually.
I saw AGE, I liked it a lot. It's one of the more unique Gundam series in terms of story and designs. But it's usually regarded as being very bad... But yeah, I loved it. I mean, I have to admit the last arc was very monotone (it goes very SEED, beam and funnels spam, why-are-we-fightingx999999, and a SEED mode of sorts), but the first two arcs were really enjoyable.
I especially liked the second arc, and... That arc got a whole two-and-a-half hour movie. The first arc was also very enjoyable. While the third arc was typical Gundam stuff, it was still nice to see how the whole cast (from first to third generation) had grown and turned out by that point.
The first two arcs also had really great OPs and EDs, and overall an unique soundtrack... Though the third arc goes very J-Pop style (which isn't bad but just adds on to it going generic SEED anime) and the music seems less exceptional...
I would recommend a watch at least, it's my favorite Gundam for overall design, music, and how it goes through three generations of life, and the first two arcs are much more down-to-earth (what's with that third arc?). If it doesn't catch your interest early on then you probably won't like it... Or just watch that second arc movie.

Well they also have to balance the game, and they usually add new units, bosses, and modes for the console version, but yeah. It is a given that there will be one. Yeah, I heard some bad things about AGE, particularly the third arc, but some people say some bad stuff about 00, which is one of my favorite Gundam series, so I'll check AGE out. Fortunately I can watch the Sub for free on the GundamInfo channel on Youtube. I kind of have warmed up to that art style since a similar one was used in Build Fighters.
