It's possible I brought this up before. Maybe not, but I finally got around to watching it...and it's hilarious.
Daily Lives of High School Boys is, while true to the name in its plot, a slice-of-life comedy anime that lives up to its name. The anime was created as a collaboration between Square Enix and Sunrise (The people behind Dragon Quest and Code Geass, respectively. This alone is a good sign.) It centers around three guys, Tadakani, Hidenori, and Yoshitake, along with other boys in their all boy school. The plot lies heavily on trying to understand girls, the boys' bizarre lives, and miserably failing at almost everything they do. It's a very funny and interesting anime, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good laugh. Several call outs, breaking of the fourth wall, all that good stuff.

I'm hesitant to touch comedy anime but I'll give this a shot. Mainly because you said you were bored of anime and I reeeeally don't want you to loose that spark again anytime soon.
Oh, and are you watching this on Hulu? Because you totally should. I'm trying to advocate watching anime legally.

I specifically said Hulu because I looked it up on crunchyroll and found an article saying that it was on Hulu. Hulu is online and a google search away but I don't know anything else about it because it's not available in my territory.
So I saw the first episode. Didn't like it, I think I only chuckled once. Anime comedy just isn't my thing. However, to entice Claxus, mechs appear in less than a minute. For like a few seconds. This isn't a mech show. But I thought that I might mention that anyway.

I came across it before. Thought about watching it because the guy in Steve's avatar has style and it seemed interesting enough. Just checked the first episode out on Youtube, saw the first two minutes, then skimmed around to the end. Guess it's not something I wouldn't watch (not really any time soon), but it would have been so much more hilarious and amazing of an anime if they kept up how the intro was.

You forget he also has quite possibly the sexiest, manliest voice in history.

That 10 minute complitation of 3 of the "shorts" in the anime is a very good way of showing what that anime is. ALSO, if you watch the anime, make sure to watch after the credits. There's another short which, most of the time is about three girls. It's an interesting extra, so don't forget to keep watching after the credits. EDIT: aaaand I'm finished. Great ending, just great. Not even joking, they finished everything and did it well. Also this is amazing.

*Googles*
Oh hey, that guy again. The guy with the manly voice that's the only voice actor I ever recognize through different animes (aside from JYB lolz). In Eureka Seven, Code Geass, and Vandread. I could agree with that. The other guy can have the Japanese-voice award, I guess. I mean, he's Gin from Gintama, Switch from SKET Dance, and the mech in Suisei no Gargantia.

I love how the topic went from the anime...to sexy manly voices. And that THAT is what Al quotes me on.
That aside, while this show is a comedy it does have some touching moments.

Am I the only one who sees this or is Steve's new avatar broken? What? Relevance? What's that? Well, his new avatar was from this series I suppose...
