I tried looking for Sol when she ran away, but I couldn't find her, and I ended up walking around in circles. I should have followed her immediately.
I eventually found myself back where I had woken up this morning, and hoped that one of the girls would make there way back there. Despite myself, I was also incredibly tired. It may have just been my imagination, but Sol's world seem to tire me out more than usual. It felt like there was a strong weight pushing down on me at all times, that sat like a lump of lead in my gut. A result of being one of the only people to move in such a place?
As such, as soon as I got back to that bed, I fell asleep.
Wake up, bed bug! You wont help a queen build her kingdom with you're drool!
As I stirred awake I vaguely saw Luna leaning over me, and she wiped off some warm drool which I did indeed have forming at my lips with her finger. She looked at it with a disgusted look before cleaning it off on her dress.
Dude.
Hygiene!
We've got a lot of work to do today. Actually, you have.
She walked over to the other side of the room and continued writing some highly simplistic writings on the wall, then, she began pacing up and down.
Did you see Sol? I hope the bitch finally came clean. I've also got a question. Does she still have that filthy rag she calls a cloak?
No, I assumed you had it. Listen-
Damn straight, I destroyed that thing. I was just testing to see how much you had been paying attention, and how much she had told you. It will take her forever to take another one of those! Gives me plenty of time to convince you what a colossal waste of time her ideals are.
Oh, I'm looking forward to it with baited breath but- I've just been wondering, do you two have a kinda... well, I mean, did something happen, a tragic family event which caused you two to act this way towards each other?
Luna stared at me with angry eyes filled with red hot rage, and smiled a sociopathic smirk.
Worms should learn that it is not their place to answer questions, maybe I'll consideri humouring you after you give me 100 pushups!
I'll pass, exercise to that extreme isn't my strong suit.
Luna pushed me to the ground, which seriously hurt. I was about to get up when I felt her foot stamp down on my back, keeping me pinned down. I saw how this was going, and I began grudgingly performing the 100 push ups against her pressure.
I've got to teach you how to fight. I desire no weakling ruling alongside me calling themselves my equal. There are other tribes that have built up yesterday. More people by daylight are regaining movement, so while you and Luna discuss... nothing! I can only imagine, my footing here is only worsening! We need to push forward today so that I can extend the duration of the night and keep this war rolling!
Hah... hah... fuh... I think I've missed... a few crucial steps here.... You want to extend the night?
... Sol truly is useless. Well, thing is, we change this world using our magic, that's why they are the way they are. Unlike your world, the day and night system isn't dictated by a fixed astrological system. We've forcibly altered the time of the day, the weather, the climate, all that, so we have control over the time of the day. If we can make our magic grow, we'll be able to extend the duration of either the night or the day against each other. Get it you little dumbass? I can increase my magic by spreading chaos. She boosts her's by being an idiot. Keeping people frozen, basically, if her plans for the world are as she discussed them.
Right... so... agh! Uh, the more you brainwash me... the more time you'll have... with which to brainwash me? Charming, very... very charming! PLEASE LET UP, I'M DYING!
The people we'll be fighting against take advantage of this chaos. Even in your world, I doubt a foe would simply give up if you threw in the towel. In fact, it encourages them to attack even more ferociously!
Luna sat on my back as I barely reached my 13th pushup. I was going to die, I needed some way out of this.
What would you... do if I said I were... getting somewhat aroused by this?
EEEEEK!
She leaped up like she had been burnt and stepped away from me, snarling like a cornered wolf. Panting, I crawled back up onto the bed and lay on my sore back, smiling. That was simply far too easy, perhaps she would be easier to deal with than I thought?
I fuckin hate you Cipher!
At least you called me Cipher, for once. The only time you ever called me that was when we first met, right?
She turned red and left through the door, slamming it behind her. I heard her muffled voice from behind the door.
I'm going to be rallying our men outside. I'm planning an invasion today, and I consider you to be their leader too, so you better come soon or else I'll kill you you puss filled toe rag!
Announce myself as a leader of a tribe in the midst of all this chaos? I wonder what Trinity would think. I didn't feel tired however, and I felt obligated to keep down any causalities she might cause to a minimum. If I were able to cement myself as a leader of this tribe, I may be able to better make sure Luna doesn't go too wild.
1) Watch her rally from the window, waiting until it's over, before going outside.
2) Go outside and help her out with the rally.
