I don't know about you, but considering my computer is on almost the whole day, this is simply a matter of "click fifteen, buy auto-cookie item, go back to doing something useful." 

Automation. It's like the industrial revolution all over again. . . except not at all. Not even in the slightest.

Pretty much this. I just started this afternoon and I'm at >13,000,000 automatic cookies per second now, and each manual mouse click gives me almost 400,000 cookies.

So apparently Cookie Clicker has spread to Japan over the last few days, creating Vocaloid songs about baking cookies and fanart of cookie-baking grandmas and anime/touhou characters with cookies.
