I was watching this before it was cool.
But in all seriousness I mentioned this to you guys by using some of the concepts in one of your ecchi based RPs once. I knew it would be right up your alleyway.

I don't really care for the ecchi, but I love the story and the characters.

It has surprisingly decent plot, characters, animation, music, and action scenes for an anime of this ilk, it's good fun. But I hate to admit that my favorite part about this show is the ecchi.
This is why I like to watch other shows which try to remove as much ecchi as they can. It can ruin the seriousness for me no matter how good everything else is.

Otherwise, that sounds like a fairly solid idea.

Otherwise, that sounds like a fairly solid idea. I've already stated my intentions to make new rp signups everyday Plus, I've kinda lost the plot to Quar, unfortunately. It had a great run. Regardless, I'll maybe save a DxD rp for tomorrow, but know I am contemplating one.

If you're still interested I have it allllll covered. In my not very humble whatsoever opinion, I'd say that if for some reason you want to be making this many sign ups, that you limit it to once a week. Gives you more time to think and work out if the sign up you're making is truly something that you want to put time into.

Also, check the destruction of heaven and hell sign up for when I stated I would release new rp sign ups every day

I feel weird when I realize not being fazed by ecchi as a teenager is abnormal. Anyway, I've heard about this. A lot. Might give it a shot...then again, maybe not. Who knows.

In this anime/manga, there had been a war going on years before between the demon, angels, and fallen angels.
The fighting came to a stand still, and they all receded to their normal zones. Angels, and fallen angels can make light spears. Demons use magic. Humans are given sacred gears, and they retain these if they are turned to a demon or angel. Sacred gears are basically weapons/abities that are powerful in their own ways and have their own special abilities. For example, one of the main characters, Yuuto(I believe. I actually forgot his name because he hasn't been addressed in the new episode, and I'm not rewatching the series for a while.) He has the sacred gear sword birth. This allows him to summon various swords of different abilities and powers. He can even summon a demon sword, or even a holy-demonic sword as his balance breaker. A alance breaker is when one with a sacred gear reaches their pinnacle of power, able to use their strongest form/power/ability, depending on your sacred gear. The main character is able to have a dragon armor that greatly enhances his resistances and his power.
Then, there are holy swords called Excaliburs. These are the strongest of holy swords that are only usable by a few. There are artificial users and and natural users. Demons are unable to use swords, or even touch them. A slash from these swords gives double the pain, and has a sorta poison effect like in other games. Human-demons that are natural users are still able to wield their Excalibur.
To become half demon, you must be made into one by a full blood, which also dictates your chess piece, and brings you into the full blood's family, making you their servant, technically.
Depending on your chess piece, you'll have even more added abilities. King is all powerful basically. They're the most powerful in the family, and are the full blooded masters of their family. Queen, has the abilities of all pieces besides the king, until the queen reaches what the king determines as the enemies' territory, like in real chess(though I wouldn't know since I've never played chess and don't know how), I think that's how it goes. The queen is often the close and most trusted of the king. Knights gain increased speed and are exceptionally adept at swordplay Rooks have increased defense and offense. Bishops are support. Pawns are able to promote to any other piece besides king when they reach the territory that the king states as the enemies' territory.

Funny thing, the King in chess is the most important piece, but one of, if not the weakest, piece on the board. Pawn description is right in comparison to real chess. They're weak, but if they reach the other side of the board they can become any piece except a king. The Queen is the strongest piece, able to use any form of movement the other pieces have except for the knight. Rooks are great for checkmating a king. They work best on open boards late-game. Knights are more like stealth agents than swordsmen, they can easily pick off pieces early in a game, and clutter generally helps them. Bishops may as well be cannon fodder. Not really, they're like snipers, slipping through gaps in a defense. One of the more common moves in chess allows for a Bishop to cross the board and take an opponent's Rook with no reprocussions. A bishop, along with your Queen, can be used to make the shortest checkmate in a game, known as Fool's mate, with 4 moves for the player. Pawns are cannon fodder.
There's your useless chess knowledge for the day. Go learn how to play chess already.

That all seems to check out Riku. However: Clarification on sacred gears: Not everyone gets them, and 90% (pulling out a random estimation) of humans who got them in the past went through their entire lives not knowing they even existed. However these humans would usually end up being some of the visionaries of an age, like a leader or a great artist or something. Think of a real life famous person, according to Highschool DxD they probably also had a Sacred Gear. Issei doesn't become aware of his until after he becomes a demon.
Issei the main character has an even more special sacred gear. He has the welsh red dragon, the dragons being powerful entities that ruled long ago but now reincarnate their souls as sacred gears across the ages. The red dragon and the english blue(?) dragon are destined to fight. The red dragon powers up it's users abilities as battles go on, whereas the blue dragon halves their opponents ability.
