Who did she think she was? Survival is a necessity, yes, and sometimes that may even require killing others in self defense. But she created this world specifically so that she could hunt out ordinary people whose minds she had purposefullly twisted to be justified to kill for her own amusement. I can't accept that. I got up without her help, and dusted myself off as she killed off the remaining opponents. I seemed calm, but in truth, I desperately wanted to hurl. I already felt poisioned to my core.
I'm afraid that I can't agree with you. You created this world out of your own bordem- your scum.
Luna didn't look disapointed. In fact, she smiled, and for the first time since meeting her I finally understood the game she was playing.
You passed my test- I admire those guts of yours. I've tested many others like this and I must say, most choose to take my hand out of fear. Because they are weak, and desire my protection, mo matter how insane I may appear to them. But you... well, chaos is borne out of free will. By defying me, you have proven your capacity for chaos. I look very much forward to seeing how you develop.
Don't try to turn your victory into a defeat- we are done here.
The night is still young dipshit! You may have balls, but they are still soft, vulnerable. You need power, and you don't have it. You'll have to stick with me weather you like it or not. Besides, it's my job, I'm not taking your s***. I still have things to show you, and, when we finish, I might let you talk to whoever you want inside of me if you promise to kneel and lick the blood off my shoe.
I am this close to snapping. Please shut up.
Even so Luna showed me to an area further inside the city. It was covered in the overgrown plant life I had seen earlier, and to be honest it was kind of intimidating.
Don't look at me like that, cretin, the spores from those plants protect the people nearby from my magic, which should mean they're relatively normal. Besides, the plants themselves serve as good barriers against the lower scum.
Inside a group of people were indeed standing around. They looked, well, not exactly cheerful, considering everything had been fine for them but a moment ago from their perspective, but what was most important was that they weren't immediately murderous.
Luna climbed up onto a vine, and sat down inside the center of a large rose, which seemed to open as if in reaction to her. She addressed the audience gathered in the square.
Who here is the leader of you vermin?
We, um, well, we don't really...
Seriously? Are you guys retarded? Rule number 1 in these situations is to always to start a tribe. And a tribe needs a leader! And it's a shame too, I was planning on sucking up to the leader with certain, 'pleasurable services'.
Did I just hear what I thought I heard? I hope my adolescent mind is simply hearing things. That's my girlfriend's body you're talking about there!
There was a murmuring in the crowd as they discussed this new development. Soon, two men called out.
& I'M THE LEADEE!
Despicable creatures, you can't both be the leader! We all know what you two really want.
No, that's fine. Perfect even. Alright, get your fat asses up here. You too, Cipher!
I obeyed her command, mainly because I wanted to protect Trinity. If Luna was lying to me and Trinity was somewhere else, I swore to myself that there would be hell to pay.
The men began drooling as they reached Luna and sat next to her, holding her arm.
This is why I see no harm in killing, after all, the only cure for stupidity is death. A life is not worth anything when it is this gullible, this predictable, and what's even sadder is that for every one you kill, there will always be a replacement. These are people, they're not the monsters from before, no, Cipher, they are natural monsters, retarded, slobbering over their natural instincts.
No, don't, stop!
But I was too late- Luna pulled out a switch knife, and in a few swift strokes, she had cut out the tongues of both the men. They tried to scream in agony, but their voices had been broken as they drowned in crimson. They fell off the flower, where they stayed still and barely breathing on the ground.
Fine. See? I left them alive. You really are a sadistic one, aren't you? Oh well, if one acts like a dog, then I suppose it is only fair that they are removed of their ability to express themselves- just like a real dog. Now they can only listen, and, if they're smart, they'll obey. You there! Patch these bitches up!
She glared at a group of several people who hurriedly picked up the two men and carried them off into a building. I looked away from the carnage below me, and tried to change the subject.
So much for order, then. You just wanted this chaotic world so that you can seize power in the confusion.
As if I needed to do all that to be in power, dumb ass, I was born a goddess. I'm simply showing you the way. So let me make one thing clear- Chaos does not reduce everyone to down to an equal position. The difference between order and chaos is the way inequality is distributed. Order is retarded. Those who are born into power via no will of their own get to dictate the fate of millions. During chaos, anarchy, however, only those people who are worth the slightest damn can make a difference. Commonly you'll find that the biggest bitches in a world of chaos, those at the bottom rung getting squashed, are those who would be in power in a world of order. Will is suppressed in a world of order- because those with will might kill, and ruin their meticulous, crux of a system. By their terms that is fair enough- however, of all the true visionaries who could flourish in chaos, only a select few, an elite, manage to assert their will within order. And then all that happens is that they are absorbed into the system, and their offspring will be just as worthless and as entitled as the rest of the lot.
...
The animal kingdom was fine before Luna came along and ruined everything, overwriting my natural order with you... you filthy, justice obsessed humans!
Luna became flustered as she jumped down from the flower, making me cringe as I heard a large crack, before she walked inside one of the grander looking buildings and slammed the door shut.
I probably should leave her alone, I mean, I don't really want to hear another long winded speech from her but... well, she did promise that she'd let me talk to Trinity.
1) Follow Luna?
2) Leave her be and go to sleep
3) Leave her be and talk to the other survivors.
