Disciple - Ballad of St. Augustine Dat breakdown at 3:08 is so satisfying. Being a Disciple song, I'm sure it has amazing lyrics, but I still need to look them up to that particular one ...  Which reminds me. 2:40-2:45ish. In terms of lyrics, I'm surprised Claxus hasn't posted 'between the god and bad you will find me reaching for heaven' from the black butler ending theme which I can't be bothered to look up because ETRIAN ODYSSEY FTW!
Atlus is the best... at being the best thing ever. I wonder who wrote the soundtrack for this game.

That sounds like something straight off Super Robot Wars... But I have way too many (serious) songs I could actually post here, with amazing main choruses and lyrics or solos. That's why I made my own topic here Still, since Al mentioned it... I realize I never posted this song in my own topic, so I'll probably sneak it in the next time I post there. 'I'm Alive' by Becca. Or Black Butler's first ending... But I never watched that and probably won't because I accidentally started watching season 2 first and basically there was a "NOPE NOT WATCHING THIS" scene just as I was realizing I was watching season 2. I also hear this song is completely against the nature of the anime. Well, part of this main chorus is a quote I used as the location in my profile, thus, a surprised Alberenza. Doesn't it make you feel so alive?! The lyrics overall are pretty great and inspirational, too. youtu.be/YfE7NOuT9tA?t=36sAnd while I'm at it... A song I really like, though it's hard to take it seriously sometimes because of how incredibly Engrish it is. In fact, it may as well be gibberish, because the words don't add up at all. But lyrics aside, it's a really cool song, and I love the tones of it (would this be Gothic Metal?), especially the main chorus, though more importantly... This solo! Etrian Odyssey 2 is like SMT DS x12. Have you played all the EO games? |

Nope. Hadn't heard about the series until IV.
Doesn't surprise me that it's more difficult than Devil survivor, that game was pretty easy really aside from Lucifer.
Pretty sure SMT III: Nocturne is the one you want to play if you want blistering difficulty from Atlus.
