Why not go all the way for an original story? You can make like, Mechamon or something. It'd be like Digimon and Pokemon. Some digital world where people catch machine monsters, and have battles and stuff. Or it doesn't have to be a digital world. It could just be like Medabots or Cubix or something, but Pokemon style! Pocket monster catching and battling! Of course there'd be all shapes and sizes like Pokemon. |

Well, I don't remember anything about the GameCube one, but I did enjoy playing it with a couple friends the other day. I remember the ds one vividly, the plot, the characters, the locations of most of the video chips. I've only played the GC one once, and the ds one multiple times So, for now I'd have to say the ds one wins it |

I loved both of them. The GC one had really nice graphics, and a good story, also a much better main character. But Arena... I mean, it had online play, and that very useful and cool third person view, and the robot posing/diorama stuff was pretty amazing. I really did miss those team battles, though... But I gotta go with Arena, mostly for the multiplayer and customizing aspects. Although, it removed the alternate color sets...

Making Pokemon is too complicated, and with school and my two stories, I don't have too much time to devote most of my time to it. I was thinking of maybe a chapter every two weeks or something |

I guess that could work.
And making Pokémon isn't that complicated. I'm not suggesting create the entirety of the region or a full 150 set. I mean one or two custom Pokémon.
