Apparently he has a Packard Bell ixtream 9607 that worked fine when it arrived at this KCU place he seemingly works at but when he got it home it decided it felt like just beeping and so he posted a thread asking for help from his DSi. Glad to hear that random technical issue thread I tried to start really took off. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that's nowhere near enough information to determine anything, but do you at least have some sort of BIOS pop up?

Unless you just didn't plug it in all the way or something.

Also it occurs to me I know exactly nothing about this Packard Bell: ixtream 9607 thing, you should probably provide a link if possible. This is probably relevant to my question in some way.

Figure out the model name, Google "[model name] disassembly instructions," and there should be illustrated disassembly instructions if Packard Bell knows anything about customer service.

If the computer won't boot up, and just beeps, the beeping should actually be a code of sorts. I'm not sure if it's the same for any computer... But you should get the name of your computer model, and google it's name + beep codes. The way it beeps should tell you why it won't boot up. My guess is a piece inside slided out of place while you moved it home, but anyway... Just try what I mentioned to find the problem.
