Death eye you fotgot X. X GODAMN IT! IT LOOKS AWESOME!
AND MEGAMAN! Ok I'm not a fan of megaman but now so many developers are getting in on the action, and he looks like a good character in his own right... anyway, smash bros 3DS looks awesome. Fingers crossed that Namco throws in something of their own, and that they decide to put in robin/avatar/MU from fire emblem awakening instead of Chrom, and that they don't remove Marth or Ike. And that they nerf metaknight and allow for more customization. And that the game is generally badass.
ALSO BAYONETTA 2 LOOKS AWESOME! WINDWAKER HD LOOKS AWESOME! OMG HYYYYYYPE!
Still, the new mario looks kind of weak. Just make sunshine 2 already.

i was not expecting Dead Rising 3. i will say that it may not follow on from Dead Rising 2 as it has multiple endings. i was expecting Fifa 14, PES 14, Forza(is it Motorsport) 5, Assassins Creed 4 (more like 6) and Saints Row 4 though. the price of the Xbox One is higher than id thought as i was expecting it to be cheaper than the PS4.

Death eye you fotgot X. X GODAMN IT! IT LOOKS AWESOME! No I didn't. I still don't get the appeal of customization in this context. Sounds like it'd break the game a bit in terms of balance and whatnot. No. This isn't even personal bias talking, just no. I would understand if you were just calling for an epic single-player adventure in general instead of 3D NSMBU, but we don't need Sunshine 2. It'd be redundant. And I know you're going to say that the same could be said of 3DW, but that's different, that's taking the new and unique style of game we saw in 3DL and literally nowhere else and expanding upon it while also bringing back the varied character abilities of SMB2, whereas Sunshine 2 would just be another twist on the 64 style just like the first Sunshine and both Galaxies. Except it wouldn't even be a new and exciting twist, it'd be one we saw 10 years ago. i was not expecting Dead Rising 3. i will say that it may not follow on from Dead Rising 2 as it has multiple endings. i was expecting Fifa 14, PES 14, Forza(is it Motorsport) 5, Assassins Creed 4 (more like 6) and Saints Row 4 though. the price of the Xbox One is higher than id thought as i was expecting it to be cheaper than the PS4. How did you not expect Dead Rising 3? The second game was a pretty big deal, of course they're going to make a third, they're Capcom. Also GT6, I forgot to mention GT6 in any of my posts but it is a thing and I recommend it because it's not an XBOne exclusive like I'm pretty sure Forza is. Also 5 had like a billion cars which I'm pretty sure is the main distinguishing characteristic between driving games that aren't Burnout.

Yes you did. Sorry. I meant customization in terms of appearal (characters and stage creators) and only game play customization for story mode. So... a stagnating mario 64 formula as opposed to the incredibly stagnant every other mario game formula? Sounds legit. I don't necessarily want a sunshine two, I really just want another star collectathon, and sunshine was my favorite of those 4 games, plus sunshine hasn't got as much love as the others (M64DS, SMG2) SM3DL was pretty dull to me, as have the recent new super mairo bros games. I can easily ignore them but galaxy 2, and perhaps not even that was easily the last mario game I fully enjoyed. Unless boweser's inside story came out after that... So, sorry. Cats wont make the new mario appeal to me in anyway. Why have you been so quick to tear me a new one recently death eye? So hostile. Anyway here's a list of all the trailers. So there you go Steve, a Yoshi's island trailer if it would please his majesty.

Game's like dead rising aren't made because they want to make a cohesive story, they are made because they are marketable franchises. If a game ends conclusively, then that is only just in case a sequel never manages to get itself green lit.

Nope, it's in my post which means it was always in my post. That's how it works. See, the only thing there that sounds good to me is the stage creator thing, aside from that it either adds unnecessary wrinkles to the gameplay or is just pointless. Essentially what it amounts to is I prefer my SSB experience to be a simple matter of knocking dudes off cliffs. As I said, I fully understand wanting another epic single-player adventure, it's just with that formula being rather stagnant reusing an old gimmick would seem rather stale. Especially that one, as much as it changes the gameplay the level design isn't too majorly different from a gameplay standpoint, you're still in relatively normal 3D environments. And it doesn't even do that much to the platforming, it mostly just gives you the ability to hover, do weird things on ropes, and occasionally jump really really high with the rocket nozzle. So they'd be better off either scrapping the thought of a gimmick entirely and calling it old-school or coming up with a new and revolutionary thing. Come to think of it, what would happen if they took the 64 style and added the 2D power-up system? Also 2D platformers have never not been cool and if you disagree you're lying to yourself. No idea what you're talking about, I tear everyone a new one just as quickly as always. I don't like how slowly the clouds open when hit, it takes like twice as long as in the original. Also I recognize some of the Link Between Worlds map from ALttP. You have no idea how excited I am about that.

X is so set in Xenoblade's world. You could already see it in the first trailer, but it's obvious that Bionis' shoulder is seen and in this new one, what looked like Mechonis' shoulder ring could also be seen.
I want this game so bad!

Nope, it's in my post which means it was always in my post. That's how it works. I worded that wrong, I looked back at your post and realized you had actually put X in your post, and I was trying to acknowledge my mistake. 'Yes you did' referring to 'yes you did put x in your post.' Sorry. I can imagine they could come up with some new nozzles for flood, but again by 'sunshine two' I really just want another star collectathon. And sorry, I like 2D plat formers but mario these days is a slog to get through. NSMB wii made me want to cry in the hopes that something interesting would happen, and I did like the original NSMB for the DS. but that is the thing, I only need one game. Played one 2D mario platformer played them all as far as I'm concerned. And yes I played multiplayer. We all had a fabulous time suffering. 64, sunshine and the galaxies on the other hand have the same story but pretty different feels and again I've always preferred Sunshine's aesthetic and level designs. Recent mario games on the other hand just don't seem to have nearly the same amount of imaginative effort put into them... I hope mario and lugi dream team isn't as dumbed down down as sticker star was.

Pit is back Uprising style... Hype starts now.
It kinda grains on me that Mega Man is in this, though. Is it Capcom's doing? They've inexplicably been canceling Mega Man games and leaving him out of many games where he had a chance to be in, and now they'll plop him into Nintendo's biggest game?

'Yes you did' referring to 'yes you did put x in your post.' Sorry. Except I put it in after you pointed out that it wasn't in there. The thing about the 2D Marios lately is that their plan is to leave the gameplay virtually untouched and add in some neat gimmicks and things and in the end it feels like a new game sort of. It's basically how most Mario World romhacks work, except when Nintendo tries it (in NSMBW at least) it's way too easy for 95% of its duration and thanks to motion control it lacks the immersion that would've made it being that easy acceptable. So it's not so much that Nintendo's been creatively bankrupt with the Marios lately, they're just not fixing a thing that isn't broken. Even though it actually does have a few cracks in it.

Also, I have to agree with DE on this one, SM3DW is actually a somewhat new take on that series. SMS2 would be the exact same thing. Don't get me wrong, I liked SMG2, but it was the exact same thing.

SM3DL didn't feel much different to the 2D games, so it really doesn't feel like anything particuarly new, even if it is only the second in this new series of spinoffs. I don't want another SMG. I never said that. I want another game in the style of 64, Sunshine, and SMG, but I certainly don't want another sequel to anyone of them (although sunshine would be my prefered sequel if they had to make another one.) What could they do? Well... Nintendo are good story writers when they try. I mean, super paper mario had an amazing story. I'm not sure why they couldn't make another game with a similar tone to super paper mario, but make it a 3D star collectathon like the previously mentioned games. Heck, it could be some kind of super dimmension crossover where mario has to fight all his past villains. How awesome would it be to see count bleck and fawful working together? Perhaps bowser could be like their metaphorical footstall or something. Maybe they could make an evil princess peach like the shadow queen, or an actual evil mario. Like, literally an evil mario doppleganger that isn't just Bowser jr in disguise. Nintendo has a great universe here that is open to tragedy. After they have got everyone into games, they should start working on a major game with some darker story elements. They can easily pull it off, as they have done many, many times in the past. Right now very few things in the mario universe are worth a damn to me, with the possible exception of luigi's mansion and the upcoming dream team.

Huh, I thought that was part of the original trailer. Saw it on Nintendo's YouTube thing and it was at the end. But yeah, definitely an addition that caught everyone off guard. I gotta say though, I think it's strangely fitting for the game. Very 'Nintendo,' and very making me hyped for the game.
I felt like I'd never be excited for SSB as much as I was for Brawl, but SSB4 is already getting there...

it would be hard to pick one console out of Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One. PS4 has not much of interest to me. Xbox One has Forza, Halo and might have Minecraft (will not put money on that). Wii U has SSB (hoping for my little yellow friend to be in it so i can send over 100 volts through Mega Mans head) so it is tough.

Console Minecraft is always behind the PC version, I highly doubt Forza's substantially better than GT, and Titanfall and Destiny both look better than Halo ever did. Seriously, I get that it is technically a game console and should be considered as such, but look at what we know about the thing. It costs $100 more than the PS4, Xbox Live costs $10 more per year than PS+ and doesn't give you anywhere near as many discounts on downloadable things, and perhaps most importantly from a financial standpoint, assuming you buy pretty much every game used under normal circumstances you have to pay on average at least 50% more per game for the Xbone. No game they could put on there is worth the cost. Not to mention they're a**holes. Did you see their PR guy in that video? "Yeah, real sorry you're stuck on a nuclear sub, but if you can't get an internet connection down there then go f*** yourself, we don't want you playing games on our thing."
