If this thread exists elsewhere i didnt bother to look couldnt find it. Anyways, which borg best fits each commander? Like not their partner borg. But which borg best embodies the character? Ie like, nao definately embodies mana, and coincidentally is her partner, but like kotaro and billy? Naw no way.

No i mean like if they were a borg which one would they be? Like sho wouldnt be garuda, hed be like metal hero, easy to beat but also broken as heck.

Mana - Angel Nurse or Shield Witch unfortunately.
Kakeru - G Red (because he is a nice man of JUSTICE)
Nekobe - Gold Hero (becayse he's a coward)
Kitsune- Sekhmet Witch (because he's a jerk who picks on people smaller than he is(Kotaro))
Tama- Any fortress (HE'S HUUUUUUUGE)
Tetsuya - Cyber Hero (Because he is a man of JUUUUUUUSTICE)
Sho- Cyber Ninja (because he's cheap and broken as heck)
Orochi- Ice Dragon (lackluster but strong and a cold, mysterious personality)
Yuji - Double Ninja (Because he has the EPIC CLONING POWERS. ...OF JUSTIIIIIICE.)
Usagi - Kung Fu Master (she's always so pumped and excited. KFM is exciting.)
Met - Arrow Ninja (the useless strategist.
Tsutomu - Ultimate Cannon (the crazy powerful guy disguising as a useless strategist)
Galactic Emperor - Galactic Emperor (because Galactic Emperor)
Kotaro - Flame Dragon (Best partner ever, huge SPIRIT, crazy power, and JEEEEEEEEEEEEEYUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSTIIIIIIIIIICEEEEE!)

Most characters are actually quite spot on with what they use. Instead I'm going to come up with secondary choices and copy Steve's template.
Mana - Angel Nurse or any of the Valkyries. They really suit Mana more than Usagi.
Kakeru - Steve says G-Red. Well, it's kind of true. He really is like that secondary hero guy that's just as cool. I would say he would have G-Blue if it existed. But otherwise, I think Shuriken Ninja captures him better than Sasuke. Maybe because Shuriken Ninja's like borderline a ninja mecha.
Nekobe - Vampire Knight... Yeah, an aggressive bully that gains from preying. Also the samurai thing with soul-length blades. I feel like he has another fit but can't think of one. Like, a borg that fits cockiness.
Kitsune - Hard to argue with the robots. He fights by teaming up with those bigger than him. Alternatively, I feel Acceleration Ninja fits him, or other small, fragile, but fast borgs.
Tama - Also hard to argue. Just sit up there with a fortress mashing buttons, ice cream on the other hand. If he was an actual fighter, maybe Spike Knight or Hammer Robot.
Tetsuya - Anything with two swords. Yeah, he's just like that cool hyperactive kendo master guy that slashes like crazy but is skilled. Steve said Cyber Hero, which I can agree with, too, except I strongly feel this guy needs his tools of justice (swords). Flame Ninja is also good, though.
Sho - I think he's actually not well fitted for what he has... I always thought his borgs were a bit off. His anti-heroness aside, he's really a G-Black kind of guy. Or perhaps Metal Hero. Jet Hero, too, kinda. Or that borg Orichi uses with a scythe. Sho should fight more antagonistic and skillful. Not fly away with broken crap. Cyber Ninja fits him better, too, while being a very powerful and stylish borg that's not AS broken. I mean, anti-heroes like him should use what makes them seem super skillful, maybe OP, but not like Garuda.
Orochi - Why's she use Teleport Ninja? Well, actually, I think she should be the one with Demon Wing and Garuda. She's like an angel of death. And mysterious. Like how those two look. Elemental and Ghost Knights are good fits, too. They're floaty and aura-y and so incomprehensible but powerful.
Yuji - Divers. I thought there was no other way to go. But Steve brought up a good one with Double Ninja. But has to be divers primarily. Those things are so stupid and incompetent and goofy and pointless.
Usagi - Shadow or Killer Girl. I dunno. She's just girly but intense at the same time. But also the Cyber Girls. Or give her a custom Barrier Girl with bunny ears. Her Valkyries also kinda show that she has a supportful side. So she can use all of those.
Met - Can't beat his current borgs. Just kidding. I think... That green transforming vehicle borg is perfect. Forgot its name, but there's no better for Met than a strategic tank-plane shifter. I can see him with Panther Robot, too. And Remote Bomber. Or Gatling Gunner? Steve said Arrow Ninja due to being an useless strategist *punches*.
Tsutomu - Tanks... And planes. They're just his style. Maybe Time Bomber. So they can be rivals like their descriptions say. But I think he's more purely vehicles. He could also do with a Panther Vehicle. Or the transformy tank-plane. Yeah, this guy's too similar to Met, but I see him as more of a planned direct-assault/flank strategist than a careful tactical fighter that employs strategies like disabling the enemy like Met.
Galactic Emperor - Guess I copy-pasted this guy too. Well, if he was a real fighter, give him G-Black and Garuda. At the same time. Cruel, cruel, cruel... Wait, wait, G-Garuda?
Kotaro - His gunmen and giant robots. His borgs embody a young boy's heroes. Stylish desperadoes and robots that transform and come together. Every man's dream. Or, boy's. Give him Cyber Ninja, too. Or some other ninjas. Ninjas are part of a boy's dreams. Though they're also a girl's dream.

Also, Garuda suits Sho fine. Garuda's attacks are quick and relentless. Also, due to the fact that Garuda flies, he constantly looks down at you. This fits Sho pretty well.

My mind's eye can see the dreams of others. But for someone like you it's still relatively simple to figure out, everyone loves ninjas and that's that.
Still, Garuda seems too unconventional to me. It's too big and just nukes stuff or tanks melee with super armor, and he tends to just fly away shooting nukes. I always thought he seemed more like the 'protagonist reflection' type and should have had some robot with a katana (i.e. Neo G-Black) and he would win at first simply because he's much more skilled.

Correction, girls don't like just any ninjas, they prefer kunoichi.
Also, Garuda has a sword, he just throws it most of the time. As for him being OP, he's not really. He's the same "level" as Neo G Red. They made him hard to beat for most newcomers to the game to provide the MMX Zero effect. Out of all the partner Borgs, he's the one that closest matches the power level of Neo G Red, thus providing the perfect goal: become as powerful as Garuda.
As for me, I could beat Garuda easily when using NGR and with a bit of difficulty when using GR.
Finally, seeing as both are pretty much Wrath incarnate, it makes sense why he seems so OP to most players. Sho has the desire to destroy all Borgs and Garuda supposedly has the power to set into motion that desire.

That mind's eye probably has seen some filthy things in dreams...  Anyway, I agree. The first two Sho fights gave me a lot of trouble, and I think Garuda fits Sho really well. |
