Sega Spectrum?

So recently after quite alot of research and digging through site's and forum's I have found something interesting coming possibly to E3 for sega.

that being the sega spectrum.

I am personally secretly hoping that it may be a console, I never owned a sega console and I heard that they are awesome. Not to mention im a sega fan.

But I am extremely skeptical about that.

Im pretty sure after the successful flop of dreamcast sega backed out of consoles and stuck to developing games third party style. Also sega consoles were fantastic my genesis 3 never broke ever. And all you had to do was blow in it when it didnt read the game, then itd read it like a.... something that reads or it dies? Idk anyways, i feel like its going to be a game, probably like sonic generations but with all the sega characters over the years.

If it was a console, that'd be interesting...Sega's been out of the competition for consoles for years, I wonder how it would work out.
I hope it isn't, but that'd be interesting.
