Now before i begin i feel i should say that before yesterday i had no interest in gen 5. But ona whim i decided why not and thusly i felt like an 11 year old again (thats when i got my first gameboy and pokemon yellow(first game (best one still))) and this morning i decided i would keep you guys up to date on my progress through it. Now for some backstory our young hero ash ketchum crimson last name unknown lives in pallet town asperia city in the kanto unnova region. Having no father for unnexplained reasons hewas raised by his mum. He often played with his neighbor gary oak hughprof oak prof juniper sent her assisstant daisy oak bianca to give crimson a pokedex and his first pokemon pikachu oshawott. After naming his oshawott Urai (as in samurai) he set out to catchure pokemanz and such like. Our story picks up after crimson saved a ranchers growlithe herdier? Fron a villanious team rocket plasma grunt.
Pokemon ive caught so far
Urai/Oshawott(m) lv 11
Amphere/mareep (m) lv 8
Riolu (f) released murdered with an axe
Anubis/riolu (m) lv 11
Puppything/lillipup (f) lv 11
Meerfat/patrat (m) lv 9? Idk it dies like everybattle cause its garbage looking at you bidoof
Seemstress/sewaddle (f) lv 9
Doofus/psyduck (m) lv 7 (box 1)
Crybaby/azurill (f) lv4? I totes just caught it idk what lvl it really is (box 1)
Birdcrap/pidove (m) lv7 (box 1) isnt pidgey a pidgeon already? Why do you need two different pidgeon pokemon?!?!?!
Meowth3/purrloin (f) no idea what lv, lv 4 maybe? Any ways again how many cat pokemon do we need?! Srsly! (Box 1)
I have beaten cheren and obtained the crapily named first babge. And like a bagizllin medals whatevee those do. More to come. Probably provided i catch stuff

Purrloin is a leopard, far different from Meowth.
Pidove is a DOVE, not a pidgeon. Besides, pidgey is absolute crap. Fearow all the way!
and you dare name my favorite evolution line CRYBABY? I'll have you know that with the proper training Azumarill's the 2nd best pokemon you've already caught! (first being Riolu.)
At its final evolution, Azumarill can reach enormous amounts of power.

I'm mostly here to say how surprised I am Pidove is... A dove. It's really supposed to be a dove? It does look kind of like a dove, but more like a pigeon... And doves are white. Pigeons are the ones with tan-like colors and black stripes... And its evolutions are like, pure pigeon stuff.
Actually... It's apparently a fact, as I just checked, that it is based on a pigeon. The dove part of the name is probably there given the innocence and cuteness of its first form.
Staraptor is totally the coolest, though. Or, the mecha bird Skarmory.

So prepare to be mind blown, doves are just pidgeons with white feathers. And yes steve i named it crybaby cause thats what the sprite made me think of. Purrloin will stay meowth3 because its still a cat.
Also made it to city with a gym 2. Oh and thanks for ignoring marreep which when an ampharos is awesome

Today i beat two trainers in roxies gym and am grinding for the battle with roxie. Also capture an audino, growlithe,magby,venipede,magnemite and koffing. And i also "completed" the area to the south of the city taking a break for now

Oh right, I forgot. Ampharos sucks. Fixed. No really, Ampharos sucks. It's better than crap like Plusle, Pachirisu, and Raichu (I love raichu, but it sucks) but Ampharos is still bad. It's a slower electric type, and while it has acceptable bulk to exploit static with and a solid special attack stat, it's pretty much the slowest fully evolved mono-electric type out there, and the weakness to ground and few resistances mean that Ampharos will not do much. If I want an electric type I'll use freaking Jolteon, or Electrode. (Electrode may suck, but it's fast, and electro ball almost always gets 150 power.) Also, if you're going to "fix" my post, don't soil my quoted post with your faulty grammar. As much as you may want it to be, "bestest" is not a word. Stick with best. |

So i think i train my pokemon differently than you. I will admit that its slow. Well most are i raise the speed on mine. All of them. As far as the weakness to ground goes why are you using ampharos against a ground type? And now i feel steve being a grammar nazi has merited a response. Bestest is like best+best so its double best. Deal with it Pokemon other than ground types learn ground moves. Earthquake is a very common move competitively, and unlike Jolteon, Ampharos will go later and do nothing as it is OHKOd. |

It happens i forgot i had a lvl 50ish minun bafk when i had saphire i made that little dude into a tank id charge for like 4 turns tho each time making charge more effective then use either thunder or shockwave for a basically ohko. Also my mareep elvoled today and it won me my second badge before doing it then i made a movie grossing 24 billion P$ like a boss movie star and now im following iris into the sewers |

Or i could use something like pachirisu Anyway i caught raggenrola,sandile,woobat, drillbur and that trashbag thing. Beat gym 3 and colress got lucario herdier and dewott oh and meerfat evolved into watchog which was then deposited in the pc for magby. |
