I guess you'll need some equipment that connects your TV/videogame to your computer.
In the old days, you could connect a VCR to your console and record your gaming to a tape.

For good quality: - Find a VCR, record the TV screen to a tape, transfer it to a cd/dvd, and then put it in your computer.
- Get a GC emulator and record the screen with a screen recorder.
For bad quality: - Record the screen with a digital camera.
- Draw each frame in MS Paint and show them in rapid succession.

Good ideas. I know what you mean by the Video Camera being a bad choice. Also i take it you suggested using a VCR rather then a DVD recorder as VCR's are much cheaper to buy?

I really didn't have that in mind, but that makes sense. EDIT: This should help a bit. www.gamespot.com/features/6148616/p-3.html
