Dragoon. The end lol. Also i havent played a kirby game since like umm... Nightmare in dreamland? Kirby 64 was one of my favs tho. Power combining was cool. Kirby 64 was awesome. The only problem with it is that most powers only have one move. If they made a new game with the power combining thing and more attacks for each ability it would be the coolest Kirby game ever made, I think.

I would have to agree with that. And the powers need hats... The hat thing was cool. My favs are lightsaber (cutter+lightning if mem serves.) amd fire sword (cutter+fire) oh and the crystal gun thing was cool

Super stone was so broken. With super stone you could march through anything that wasnt a boss.

I liked thunder stone. It was cheap, but not broken. If you jumped right it was lininite attack and it basically beat everything.

Cutter+Stone+Repeated use of the ability=Eventually having a mildly entertaining flight ability in the form of a stone bird thing. Bomb+Stone=HOLY S*** RUN AWAAAAAAAAY! (Yes, I know you can pull out the hard hat and not get annihilated by the dynamite.) Fire+Ice=...Why?
Those are my thoughts on some of the abilities I can remember.

The most broken combination was Ice+Electric. You kill enemies with food. THEN YOU EAT THE FOOD. Lethal weapons and infinite health in one :3 Bomb/Cutter (ninja stars I think?) was pretty awesome too, along with the lightsabers and flaming swords and fireworks.

Electric and needle was useful when running under tha platforms. Zap lightning bolt just owned another waddle dee. Stone/cutter was useful until you got the fish. That did nothing...

I've gotten back into playing Kirby Air Ride. I seem to have developed a tendency to never use my right hand and to always use purple Kirby. I forget why (and what) exactly I wanted to post about it, or what I went to the GameFAQS board to look for, so I'll just post this video I found the URL to in a topic there.

Everyone's riding a Compact Star and I have 13 Turn patches. The particularly amusing part is that I also had, like, 8 boost patches but about the same top speed as the other three, so at the start I couldn't turn without oversteering and I kept randomly having my speed double from being behind them.

^Everyone's riding compact stars and I'm In the swerve star with a +10 Top speed and +6 boost. And its a drag race. Guess who won (and got another acheivement!)

Seriously, though, +6 Boost on a Swerve Star? That's about as useless as +18 Charge on the Wagon Star. (Actually, + anything on anything was probably redundant; they're Compact Stars. ) *wants to do a Drag Race now* *gets 3 Turn patches* *jumps on Formula Star* *gets 7 Boost patches* I win. Beat that other Formula Star by 8 seconds.

Anihalates the whole arguement by throwing a fire sword. Goes into crystal form to blast any lingering bits!
Loved 64, havent played air ride, have heard sonic riders is similar. Didnt much like sonic riders, so maybe?
Also nightmare in dreamland.

And I haven't even played Sonic Riders but I can guarantee you it's completely different. *is back to playing the game* +14 Top Speed. +12 Turn. +12 Glide. -5 Weight. On a Winged Star. Game=broken.

Actually, Sonic Riders: ZG is very similar to airride in driving function. No city trial of course.
Also, Amazing Mirror > NiDL. Only reason I like NiDL is because a piece of music from it, grape garden, got remixed in RtDL. And the remix is BEAUTIFUL. my 3rd favorite BGM in the game, and 4th in general for Kirby. Also, Bomb received a huge buff in RtDL. So did Parasol. Now instead of spamming spark and stone I use Parasol, Bomb, and Hammer.

*looks at list of abilities* Doesn't seem too bad. Aside from Hi-Jump, some abilities I didn't notice, and maybe some I don't know the mechanics of, anyway. *hasn't seen the bosses and is probably underestimating them* Unless you're talking the True Arena (which, with the mention of SS, seems unlikely), it's not too bad, I don't think. Or at least Helper to Hero isn't. And I don't remember there being too many differences between the two. Question: Is beating the RtDL Arena possible without an ability?

^Yes, you can beat True arena in RtDL with no ability (Which I also did.) Yes you are underestimating the bosses. No, helper to hero is about 10x easier than True arena in SS/SSU. The regular arena is easy too. I can beat true arena in SS/SSU just fine. But with all abilities? No. I can with hammer, Plasma, and Stone. That's it.

^Yes, you can beat True arena in RtDL with no ability (Which I also did.) Yes you are underestimating the bosses. Yeah, that's what I thought. Unless you're talking the True Arena (which, with the mention of SS, seems unlikely) I wasn't sure which you were referring to because your post sort of implied an interchangeability between the games which would not apply if you were talking about the True Arena. And I know the True Arena makes a cakewalk of anything else in the game; I've done it, too. Without a power, even. (For the record, Galacta Knight is insane in those circumstances.) I'm trying to think of another ability that utterly breaks it, but... nothing's really coming to mind... I need to play that game again.
