The idea would be to have every story self contained with continuity nods. You know, like the movie avengers.

Except every movie set up those characters for avengers, if you watched the last scene in Iron Man (after the credits) then you'd know it was plannd from the start. You're just making a sudden idea. Not saying it's a bad idea, just make sure you know what you're doing. |

I'm not so far along in Ash or anything else that that will really be a problem. Besides, the way I hope to have it setup, each story should work by it's self without needing the overreaching story, at least in theory. So this will only mean a minor change in Ash, and the first stories will be nothing but setup. Planning on having a darker than black type story structure in which we'll switch to various characters as they obtain godhod.
I'm definitely going to need a lot of help for this, so that even if I fail I can salvage material for other projects. Criticise with all your might, and I appreciate OCs too from everyone. Even if they don't end up main characters I'll work them in cohesively somehow. Speaking of which I need to give Nitro a role in Ash...

Lilly is probably the least interesting character right now, too. *large spray of confetti* TAA-DAAAA! Though I doubt my OC will be much more interesting since I'm about to dream everything up right here on the spot... Name: Ariys (air-iss, like Karis but without the K) Age: 14 Gender: Female Sexuality: Straight Appearance: Semi tall, long auburn hair with some crazy anime hairdo, sharp green eyes (Maybe I'll draw something if I think of something awesome but how often does that happen? :3 ) Backstory (General, no context yet): Middle child between two brothers, who are 8 and 19. Grew up without parents. Personality: Strong sense of loyalty and obligation. Has a sense of humor and often clearly a kind person, but can come across as insensitive and cold in the wrong circumstances. Character goals: Helping to provide for her brothers and meeting the expectations of others she cares for Character positives/skills: Loyal to a fault, never gonna give you up or let you down or run around and hurt you. Knows how to fight (through what mechanism I have no idea) Character negatives/flaws/incapabilitys: Loyal to a fault, even to the point of doing crazy things or hurting others she doesn't care about quite as much Guidelines for development: As long as she's not overly disturbing or depressing, go where you will  Shoot, I won't be offended if you don't use any of this :3 Title for character to be placed above: Anywhere you need a slot filled in  |

I know where Nitro goes jus not how to use him yet... going to need to shift focus away from Ven as fast as possible.
Thanks Thaddie! Wasn't expecting that. I'll give her a shot, may need to change the name though so that we have a sirname and we don't have two 'aris' sounding names walking about.

I'm going to be starting called 'Lexis' soon which should be quite mind bending and whatnot, and hopefully much more interesting for everyone then any of my other past efforts, but I cant be certain. At the very least it wont be as awful as my most recent effort, which I hastily deleted.
I don't plan on giving up on Ash, but I want to know, would you rather I continue Ash at the same time as Lexis, or let me get to a point where I have writers block in Lexis, then head back to Ash while I sort out the plot there? In other words, both at the same time or one at a time? I know Ash was quite popular in comparison to my other attempts...
Anyway that is that. Lexis should hopefully end up being the story I've wanted to tell for ages without my previous pretensions... and it may end up being the first of my whole 'god avengers' thing. In other words, an indirect prequel to Ash, hard as that may be to believe at first glance.
Ok, enough of that. Time to get to work.

I knew it! So it wasn't just a dream... I saw a bit of it and decided I would read it later, but then... ^
I never read much of your other stories, but one thing that may have made Ash more popular could be that it sort of had an 'anime' feel to it. The characters and the plot. Speaking of which, there's also the fact that it featured characters not just from your own mind. Even if Steve never did make his aforementioned character.
But anyway... I don't really know what this new story will be about, so I can't really say if you should halt Ash for it or not.
P.S. I think I'm hallucinating for the first time ever. I swear, I kept seeing the text here float up from the post background... ... Can it be...? I am... Not Gundam...? I... I am... I AM 3DS! Or just have played to much 3DS since Christmas.

Cool (Unrelated) Note: iPhone voice recognition often translate "Claxus" as "Lexis." Along with Texas and Alexis.

Really? I always imagine pronouncing the 'us' in claxus, not 'claxis'. So... 'Clucks?' I don't know, but interesting trivia all the same...

I think I have everyone I want for Ash anyway, so I guess I'll close it there.
Well, I was going to start Lexis proper today but right now its nearly 3PM.
