I meant to make this thread back around episode 4. Now it's ep 8. Procrastination yay!
Anyways, Kokoro Connect is a slice-of-life drama which revolves around 5 high school friends. They meet up one day when two of them claim that they had swapped bodies for a short time the previous night.
And thus begins Kokoro Connect.
From there on, it's up to them to figure out how and why this is happening, and what they should do about it. Without spoiling too much, the show is surprisingly serious as it delves into and explores each of the characters personalities, weaknesses, and flaws.
For those who might be bothered by it, Kokoro Connect is one of those anime with an overly happy and misleading OP. The anime is far from K-On, despite what the OP and the art style would lead you to believe.
Also, some anime sites only have the first 15 minutes of episode 1. Finding one that has the full thing is a good idea otherwise you'll be missing some plot.

five dysfunction junction friends. All of their personalities couldn't be farther apart from one another.
That said, it a a good watch. Much of it has to do with it fairly deep story.
But for what its worth, I'd throw in Seinen as a genre. That may or may not draw people in, but it is true.

I saw the first episode and I thought it was pretty interesting but the show feels incredibly... hmm, well, the time flew past pretty quickly, and I had to stop every so often to let the video buffer! I'll keep watching, probably, but the focus on humour and light sexual suggestions will probably prevent me from thinking too highly of this.
The characters dont strike me as particularly interesting either, in fact I'm more interested in the lore of the body swapping than anything else. I'm hoping it wont go the arty route of trying to talk to the viewer about various stuff about life, with no real explanation, I'd prefer a mystery plot involving some kind of villan manipulating their actions or something. I'll continue watching, though.
