^whoa-ho-ho. Grab 'em if they're cheap in the next Steam sale or something, or maybe one of the many collections on consoles/handhelds. I think 1 and 2 are pretty okay, but I feel they should at least be played (along with classic Mario and Megaman. They're just... I dunno, historical? Most still hold up pretty well in terms of age as well). And Al posted this in the BlazBluuu thread...but it's not as "lazy" friendly as shoving a video in your face, so click play if you're a Guilty Gear fan (or P4A or BlazeBlue, since they're the same dudes...) I thought they were sprites at first. It's pretty cool how well cell shading and animations can make something look 2D. Edit: Speaking of which now that Bungie are free of oppression, anyone know what they're doing? Please tell me it's Oni 2. You've probably seen this everywhere by now since it's been a few months, but Bungie's been working on Destiny. I think it looks awesome; there's something great about a huge world, masked heros, guns, and tattered capes. I plan on getting it for Wii U if it comes out there (the "My body is ready" around 1 minute is either a huge teaser or a huge troll, but you can't just stick a Nintendo meme in a launch trailer and leave it untouched!). If it ends up skipping it, then I'll pick one of the other consoles to play it on. Looks too good of a FPA to skip out on. At least, I hope it's an action adventure title, but action RPG would be okay too. Them tattered capes and helmets. Yessir.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (PS3, TOS and TOS2, HD remaster, Localized for NA and PAL in early 2014) gematsu.com/2013/06/tales-of-symphonia-chronicles-announced-ps3The original is one of my favorite games, and it's pretty expensive now for people that missed it...so here's your chance if you're interested. Loved the first game, so I just wanted to make sure you guys know about the re-release. For some reason, I haven't bought the sequel yet even though it's why I bought a Wii . So yeah, there's your daily dose of fanboyism.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles [stuff] Yeah, that's nice and all, but is it the PS2 version? That's literally the only reason I'm interested in a rerelease of two games I already have and have beaten.

^according to comments from people who've played both, they say it's the PS2 version. So...yeah. Now, if only another Gamecube game could get similar 10th anniversary treatment...

I loved both of these games! This would be like if a remastered port of ToV deigned to show its face overshores, which is great. I kinda want to buy it if only for the new content. Also, I wonder if they'll make some huge improvements over ToS2? I liked the game, but it was sorely lacking side quests, (with depth, not a bunch of boring, optional mini dungeons) it needed to stop being stupid in the sense that returning tales characters had fixed levels and gear, it needs costume titles, a better multiplayer, and it basically needed to have all the features of previous tales games (at least symphonia.) I also hope the same battle system will be shared between the two, and will be on the same disk, although the monster collecting thing may make that difficult, as well as spacial limitations.

Then I need to get this. Okay. Neat. I loved both of these games! This would be like if a remastered port of ToV deigned to show its face overshores, which is great. Hey, those boring optional mini dungeons were great. Level 200+ enemies next to level 100 enemies for no apparent reason? Sounds like a fun time to me.

I'll admit that I only ever played through a few of the dungeons. Although, my sarcasm sensors are all over the place. Can't quite determine weather its there or not, though I'm leaning towards yes.
Also did someone mention sonic lost world? Well, sonic lost world is a thing.

Yes. In that they actually are pretty terrible. I'm serious about the unreasonably high-level enemies, though, killing overpowered stuff is one of my favorite things to do in RPGs. Even if you can just combo them into oblivion in this game. Yes.Having still not played any Sonic game for more than around 5 minutes, I still have literally no interest in this.

Oh... well I posted a trailer. This one is looking like sonic galaxy. Should be pretty good. However, to be VERY good it needs an amazing song by crush 40 and an incredibly pretentious story. If it has both of those, it will be the first sonic game that I have loved in a long time.

Oh right I have to figure out how to watch that now that G4 as far as I know no longer exists. Somebody should make an E3 2013 thread and post some links or something. Also a link to where we can see this E3 Direct when that happens.

*Decides to start hunting for Strider 1/2 for the Playstation* *The next day, a trailer for a modernized reboot for the series appears* Funny how that works. Still getting the PSX version though

Earthbound is on the Wii U E-shop. Also in america so is Shin megami tensei IV. You get to take part in a promotion if you buy both fire emblem and it, so get it because of that and also because Atlus make the best games ever. Weird how its called Shin megami tensei IV when from what I can see (trying not to spoil to much for myself) it looks more like devil survivor 3: advertised edition.

Hey look it's news of some sort.I don't like when companies tell people something's surprising (see Capcom thinking Dead Rising 3 was surprising), but this looks interesting regardless.

It looks like a Mawile on the left end and like a zebra/pony thing on the right end.

It's so depressing not having a PS3. Time to add on yet another amazing mecha game to my wish-I-had-a-PS3-to-play-these-mech-games wishlist.
Calamity might take a liking to this. (The guy in his avatar pilots Cybuster, which is in the game. Also, second half of the video is a game starring his series.)

I hear Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is coming overseas this October 8th, so I'm excited to get into a series that one of my best friends has spoken so well of. . . Though I still don't know a lot about the game.
