Because it's a poll, so it works as a PotD. So why not?

... Fanta. But staying on-topic, I prefer both Cola and Pepsi equally, the few times I want the cola-type drinks. I don't drink Pepper at all.

Dr pepper is a product of coca cola inc. ... I really dont even think it should be counted in this running. That said pepsi tastes like carbonated barf except for vanilla pepsi, that tasted like barf with carbonation and vanilla. Coke is meh, its too acidic. And dr p, unless the throwback also tastes horrid. So if i had to pick one of the three to quench my thirst... I would stay thirsty, because carbonation doesnt quench thirst.

Dr pepper is a product of coca cola inc. ... I really dont even think it should be counted in this running. Even without considering the companies that make the drinks adding Dr. Pepper in there makes this like comparing apples, oranges, and, uh, Mandarin oranges? So if i had to pick one of the three to quench my thirst... I would stay thirsty, because carbonation doesnt quench thirst. Actually, I recall reading somewhere that the only drink that doesn't hydrate you is saltwater. Either that or that's just the only one that dehydrates you... I don't know, they're the same basic thing. On-topic: Before I went into caffeine withdrawal that one time I primarily drank Coke Zero. Now I primarily drink Diet Caffeine-Free Pepsi, because physiological addictions suck. But both are good.

Dr. Pepper, if anything because I only discovered it a few years ago after drinking Pepsi/Coke for so long, so it's a nice new flavor.
I like how Coke tastes better, but it made me barf on a date lol, so now I drink Pepsi from cans. BUT, if they're both fountain drinks, I'd take Coke over Pepsi, because imo it tastes best watered down (and it's not as...stomach disrupting if it's not from a can. darn aluminum.).

Naw the water in the beverage hydrates you, but the carbonation in it removes the thirst quenching ability that water has. Meaning you will still be thirsty, which is why 1 carbonated drink is never enough. It takes your body time to process all the "garbage" out and find a use for it. With water no processing is required, it is readily useable. This is also why carbonated beverages lead to weight gain. Because the only useful bits are the water and a marginal bit of the sugar. The rest has no use and is thus either excrimented or stored as fat.
