Does anyone else love this 8-bit platformer/shooter? This is arguably the best game on WiiWare and DsiWare, and one of the best indie games out there. It's really great, and only costs $10. Anyone else played it? (They're apparently making a 3DS sequel!)

"you dont like it? Well fine then stay here alone!" shade starts to storm off.
Arc writes "women..." in the air in front of dim.

Actually, what it appears to be (the Cave Story 3DS.) Is a remake (again) only in amazing (it looks really amazing) 3D graphics. However, I like the 16-bit look more. *will probably buy it anyway.* *Has it on WiiWare, but still has yet to have it in DsiWare.* *Will probably have CS3D and CSDsiWare on my 3DS.*

Am I late to the Cave Story party? Well I actually played Cave Story+ on PC, not a Nintendo console but I don't think I need to make a new thread for the PC version. Didn't realize I missed so much stuff in the game until I started reading online. Secret levels, weapons, useless trinkets... guess it's time to play it again.

Definetly, the game's far more than one playthrough-worthy. Did you get the bad ending first? Because the game tried to screw you with that.

I chose No, then wanted to see what he would say if I said Yes. So technically I got the bad ending first, but my first choice was the good end.

I played it when it was just barely translated on PC! /hip
The true final stage really had to be one of the most enjoyable video game stages for me. Great music and stage, so intense, plus the 'additional equipment' on your back.
It's kinda strange though, the choices you have to make leading up to it.
