^ the price went down from 40 to 30 (in some stores), so that might help a little  . Sadly, I don't have enough money to feed Ninty with even with the price drop lol. Do you see a lot of BeamClaws online lol? And how are the controls? I've heard mixed feelings, similar to how people felt about skyward sword...(just curious). |

I use my awesome fast poisoning blade and an Ogre club which makes a huge round of ammo that goes really far. |

Was able to buy it today after selling a few games. Played the first level and it seems interesting. Waiting for my 3DS to recharge before playing more.
By the way, how balanced is the online? Could I jump right into it or should I wait till I get some good weapons first?

But if you use one of those, its pretty balanced. I tend to do really well with my paralyzing needle palm. |

Try to get claws with status effects.
Confusion screws everyone over.
Clubs have longest range, and 2nd best melee. But their only shots are charge shots.
Ogre club has the best range out of them.
Staves have 2nd best range but hideous melees.
Claws have best melee.
Palms (especially needle) have the best low range shot damage.
I usually go with Needle Palm, or my skyscraper club.

Through lots of fusing with my knuckle staff, I have created a 5star range flintlock staff with paralysis +1, Dash charge shot +1, side dash cont. Fire +1, melee dash attack +1, and In-Peril autododge +3.
Just to state how strong my new main weapon is....
It has a range of 110 meters with its charge shot.
According to the test dummy, at max range back it does 330 damage.
That's almost more hp than they give you in the arena.
I can pretty much OHKO opponents with it.
In short, it's rather broken.
And because my dash shot gets more power, dashing back at max range gets a whopping 391 damage.

Now I've gotten ahold of some of the better powers like mega laser, virus, lightweight, superarmor and darkness. (Still really want to get playing dead or transparency. I saw a level 4 version as a bonus item in a PvP match but I didn't get it.)
I also have 4 sets now.
Hedgehog Claws (generally my FFA set, and with lightweight and superarmor i can just walk circles around my opponent spamming my walking shot which does tons of tiny hits, killing an opponent in about 10 seconds. Very fast, and also my story set as the standard b shot makes short work of bosses.)
Laser Staff (generally my LvD set, like my flintlock staff, same charge shot range, but much faster rounds, and non charge shots go 90m, much longer than flintlock's. Very good supporter with sniping, but can get closer and do well.)
Ore Club (my sub for LvD. Long range and the rounds absorb lots of fire, making it an ideal support.)
Paw Pad Orbitars (Generally my sub for FFA. Deals quick bursts of damage, but not like Hedhehog claws. However, it has longer range.)

^I got Mega Laser, Lightweight, and Superarmor through story mode.
I don't really play multi-player that much but when I do I usually use my Doom Cannon set. Eiether that or claws. I used a really nasty Pandora Claw set that focused of status damage/assassinating.
