Yeah, pretty much anyone under college-graduate age is a good target for dragony stories. Not that adults are bad, but it seems to click more with the younger people Setting, that depends what you like. Don't set it in a time period that you don't feel good about writing in, or even simply get bored writing in. If you're trying to be different, mash it up with something else that you enjoy talking about (although I don't know how seriously you could mash dragons, sci-fi, and kart racing together...)

well they could tranform into fast cars like tranformers or they could be gotcha stlyed dragons
