I've been getting repeated warnings from my antivirus of assorted attacks from I-forget-what-it's-called-but-I-don't-think-it's-that-important. They've apparently been coming from svchost.exe (SURPRISE MOTHER-F***ING SURPRISE!) I've narrowed it down to being caused by the Multimedia Class Scheduler service (ANOTHER F***ING MIND-BLOWING DEVELOPMENT!); every time I suspend its svchost process (with Process Explorer) the incessant warnings stop, then once I resume it I immediately get hit with another one (unless it's been suspended for too long, in which case it just ends the process and restarts 5 minutes later). I originally wanted to chalk that up to a coincidence, but it happens too consistently to be a mere coincidence. This is probably also why that particular svchost always is the one that takes up 1,000,000K in the Task Manager. I've Googled it, but all I can find on Google seems to be pertaining to it abruptly stopping, which is pretty much the exact opposite of what's actually happening to me. Can anyone help? (Preferably not mentioning the Event Log, as I simply do not understand a word of all that crap in there?)
EDIT: I disabled the MMCS and it still does it. I think I'm just going to deal with it until I can get an external hard drive, transfer 100 GB of my files to it, then get Linux (or whatever the actual name of the OS itself is) if I can't get it resolved. Windows 7 sucks anyway.
