Shirley began to look around Bliss, staying reserved. There were hundreds of other spirits walking about, socialising, going about their business.
She passed restaurants of all kinds, sports centres, arcades, spars, arenas, Brothels, Casinos, Libraries, just about anything imaginable.
"This place seems to cater all kinds... too well." Mumbled Shirley.
Shirley stopped at a cinema and stepped inside, and had a look at the films on offer. There were no clerks running the place, just a data screen with search functions. A being called AI ran almost every dull job in Bliss, and he even asked questions. AI was very cleaver, he knew almost everything to know about Bliss and had the collective intelligents of all sentient life. Regardless, here his duties were to help Sprits find good films. Every film in existence was listed, as well as some released very recently, and there seemed to be an infinite amount of cinema screens, Shirley could decide between watching alone or with other spirits.
"Ah! I have no money!" Exclaimed Shirley as she emptied her pockets.
AI chuckled.
"Bliss has no currency. People just go and do what they want, and I run the boring jobs like waitressing duties. Things like cleaning are not necessary in a world where spirits make no mess, and actually, you dont even need things like oxygen, food, and drink, but you are still compelled by the same desires and still have all your all senses as a spirit, amplified, in fact, because your senses were no longer limited by your body." AI over explained.
"Oh... thanks." Replied Shirley.
She decided to watch Harry Potter again, alone.
She came out feeling more focused and more aquatinted with spirit life.
AI had suggested a nearby cafe to get her mind off things.
"A milkshake please, AI." Asked Shirley at the cafe. She went into a little booth by a window and stared outside at the marvelous city. From this perspective, it looked like the common depiction of heaven, except more for human needs. Better, really.
She sipped the delicious drink through a straw, and had a flick through AI's data base.
She could find places to suit her, and could even find her family tree and meet them. She searched up people from Garland... to find that her old friends Skyla, Riku and Rina had been reaped and allowed into Bliss!
She used a tracker AI provided to find them and dashed out of the cafe.
Shirley pelted around a corner, and crashed straight into Skyla, knocking them both to the ground.
"Oh! I'm so sorry- Skyla! Hey its me, Shirley!" Shirley smiled, and tried to get off Skyla but without a word, Skyla grabbed Shirley's tie and pulled her back down, and began making out with Shirley.
"You ok Shirley? I imagined you to be a better kisser..." Said Skyla sadly.
Shirley, once she understood what had just happened, thrashed about and almost choked on Skyla's tongue, turned to smoke and went up against a wall, wide eyed and shaking violently.
"Skyla... please dont do that again, you scared me half to death... they- they have places in Bliss for that sort of thing..." Said Shirley, upset.
"Yeah I know, sorry, but it's just not the same doing it with someone I dont know..." Said Skyla.
Riku and Rina, who had heard the cires and were using trackers also, walked around the corner to see Shirley and Skyla.
"Oh, its just you Skyla. I think I know what you just did, damn I dont believe I mi-" Began Riku, but then Rina elbowed his guts.
"Sorry about my brother, you know him, always jumping to conclusions-"
Rina had spoke to soon, as Skyla smiled pervertedly and tried to grab Rina's breasts, but Rina quickly slapped her away.
"Whooooooore." Chanted Riku.
"Well... in any case... what do you guys think of Bliss?" Asked Shirley, trying to change the subject.
"Sorry if I startled you both! I guess Bliss is cool because I can find something else to make me happy, even if you guys dont join in..." Said Skyla, now smiling innocently.
"This... this place is ok, I guess" Said Rina.
Riku looked around, as if he had only just decided to size up the place quickly.
"Its alright." He said after about 5 seconds.
"Well, I'll be heading up to the palace now. I'll see you guys later!" Said Shirley as she walked away.
"Mmm... Oh, that place looks nice, I'll head there first then follow Shirley..." Said Skyla, walking towards the nearby brothel.
Riku looked lustfully onwards at the brothel as Skyla entered, and tried to follow her, but Rina hit him over the head and dragged him over to the cafe Shirley was in earlier.
