I recently started watching this again, along with Bakuman.
This is about Ryoma Echizen, a freshman in middle school, I beleive. He is actually one of the best tennis players there and even gets a spot on the team.
In this anime, these tennis players basically have superhuman abilities. Like the captain of the team, Tezuka, has an ability called Tezuka Zone, where every ball that has a spin on it will go directly towards him so that he can hit it.
I recommend this anime very highly.
