Is it possible to update your music on an I-pod without I-tunes?

I don't think it is. I tried it once, but it didn't work. I may have done it wrong, but I doubt it would work anyway. If it will work, then the way to do it is to go to: (drive letter):\iPod_Control\Music in your iPod and add it into one of the folders F00-F13 you should see in there. I doubt it will work, but it's worth a shot if you really need to do this without iTunes.

I believe it is. What model is it? (Ex:nano, 3rd gen) Go to itunes. When you click on your device on the left hand side bar, scroll down on that page, and click "Manually manage music and videos" And that should do it. Then you can drag and drop your tunes onto your ipod when you open in the file explorer thing.
