I'm so happy! ;D If it weren't for my fandom of this, about 10 people here never would've watched it, and our newest member never would have found her way here! ;D *Cries tears of joy.* See? Isn't Sgt Frog great? It brings people together

I LOOOOOOOVE this show. Its so hilarious, but yet at the same time they slide some interesting morals and eye-openers in there (particularly in the episodes that are subbed and not dubbed, and especially in the movies) I'm just wondering why so many people have a huge problem with episode 6? I thought it was kind of boring (like I do any momoka-heavy epi), but idk i just dont see the total disappointment that would make one stop watching the show. Just curious about that. The only problems I have with the show in general is (1) sometimes I can sense some political comments being thrown in, almost to the point of being anti-American. (epi 25.. "A justified war... 'by american standards'..") I think the show would be better off having no political leniency at all. and (2) keroro is HELLA annoying in the dub compared to the sub. In the sub he is a lot more tolerable and i can actually see his leadership qualities. But other than that i love the show ^^ as far as characters I love: Giroro, natsumi, kululu, dororo, koyuki ones I have a hard time standing: mois, fuyuki, tamama, momoka, kogoro, saburo and to also answer the OP's question about fav opening/ending... I like the same opening song (I even bought it on itunes hehe) and my fav ending is: Welcome to the site! The political gags in the show are absent in the original Japanese dialogue. The reason for them being here is because the dub is more of a "localization" rather than a translation, and the writers are just trying to maintain a consistent humorous tone, which can be both good and bad, I suppose. Don't expect American audiences to be amused by the same puns, I guess. For the most part, I agree with you on the characters you love and hate haha. It's because the ones we don't like don't really play active roles in making the show funny or interesting. Once Alisa Southerncross shows up, it'll be <3 I love Kuttsuke Hattsuke Wonderland too.

Wow, we've gotten that popular? nice. Also, you should check out Gotcha Force if you get the chance! I think you're the first non-Gotcha Force playing member! Congratz! Also, Thaddie...There are a couple spots (ONLY A COUPLE!) Where a certain F word comes into play. Please keep watching, it's only 2 in the first 51 episodes, swearing rarely shows up. Episode 9 is when it first shows up. don't forget "wet, hot, beaches" where natsumi curses like a sailor! Maybe thad should just stay away from the beach episodes.. Thanks for the warnings guys, they're greatly appreciated I'll be sure to remember that xD

Thanks! Yeah I've noticed the sub is a lot different than the dub.. which is ok. It's like 2 different flavors of keroro lol it was just that American comment that made me mad.. and then one about how man never landed on the moon. I'm assuming they're just supposed to be jokes. ANyway, I've seen some episodes with Alisa.. I do like them, but I wish she had a little more personality. I remember one episode she said "I'm so happy Fuyuki" with a face like -_- i was like Really? couldn't tell. lol Actually, i think this may be my favorite ending, but its the full song Thanks for the warnings guys, they're greatly appreciated I'll be sure to remember that xD np! I don't think it gets any weirder than that whole "life-o-pus" thing from episode 6. I gotta say that was disturbing.

^No kidding it was disturbing x.x I'm glad to hear it doesn't get worse than that, though As a side note, if you haven't read the rules (which you should take a look at ) then please try not to multiple-post within a day. We have a lovely modify button at your service ^^

No, don't do that; I haven't even gotten an opportunity to welcome you to the forum yet. And if you want to get technical, the rules do only say not to double-post if the intent is a bump... It just... I don't know, looks better(?) when you keep it all in one post, I think.

Sorry, I was just replying to different people discussing different things, at different times, so naturally there are going to be different posts. Not like I was spamming everyone. Just excited to find an interesting thread on the web. In my mind, it just just seems logical to make separate posts since they are being directed to separate people.
And I'm just not really into "rules" of a conversation. Since when do you get together with a group of people and say "ok. each person can only say one thing and then we move on to the next person People saying more than one thing will be kicked out." I'm just not big on conformity.

Just excited to find an interesting thread on the web. In my mind, it just just seems logical to make separate posts since they are being directed to separate people. That makes sense. Personally, since I tend to try extremely hard not to double-post, I just quote everyone I'm responding to in the same post. By clicking the quote button, typing my response, then copying it and clicking the quote button again on a different post. But that's just what I do; I'm not going to try to mandate that anyone else do the same. And I'm just not really into "rules" of a conversation. I'm just not big on conformity. It does keep things... I don't know, a little more organized or something? But I get what you're saying. It also tends not to be enforced too strictly anyway, so you probably won't get banned for it. And even if you were to get a warning or something, it could probably be contested, what with the rules only saying not to do it if you're trying to bump the thread.

She's not bumping, therefore nothing wrong. The looks better thing is an opinion, most of us don't care. Now, if she was posting 8 times in a row, that'd be a problem. Don't nag on our new member, PLEASE.

Well, no one was nagging. Thadudette just pointed out she should use the edit button, and she responded pretty rudely. I don't really care either way, but it really is a lot easier to read in one post. Like Death Eye mentioned, copying quote messages, or even
@death Eye - Like @steve - This
@caitiechem - Welcome to our ranks. You really should make an introduction thread.

Okay, watched the dreaded episode 6, and apparently I'm WAY to perverted to think that the Life-o-puss part looked normal... MOVING ON... I have started work on frog themed drawings and the first one is going to be awesome, I guarantee. And now I got "Afuro Gunsou" stuck in my head...
