I'd like to know when the member of the month is to be announced. (Even if I know who it is).
Could you like put a notice on the MOTM voting thread, like; MOTM for 21st December.... or whatever.
Also, what do we get for member of the month? More stars for a month? A special tag for a month? Our names changed to a certain colour for a month? It being recognised on the homepage (like with birthdays)? A post boost? A special avatar or signiture?
I'm not asking this in spite or because I think its pointless, I'm just asking.

Well, I did have plans to announce the first MotM shortly after the voting began, but everyone voted for December so now we have to wait.  Other than the title itself and an increased number of stars, if the winning member has something additionally he/she wants to add to the profile is just a matter of asking. The winner could've gotten a big karma boost as well, but we all know what we thought of that system. Oh, and the winner will be announced on the main page as well, most likely at the News Screen. |

I thought the month meant the member held the title for that month. For example Loopy would hold the title of MotM for December.
