HTML?

I've been trying to get a countdown to September 7th up and running in my sig, but everything I try that I find on Google ( which is a lot of stuff) fails. The code for the countdown is in HTML, which is the problem. I can't figure out how to convert it to whatever GFF uses. Or, more accurately, no converter I find with Google works. Can anyone tell me if there even is a way to do this?

GFF uses BBCode, as do most forums. Don't know anything other than that.

I forgot I wanted to post something in here.
Yeah, I did figure out (by continuing to look on Google) that it is, in fact, BBCode. (That was a while ago.) But then experimentation told me that it's actually a severely restricted form of BBCode that can't even make numbered lists, let alone handle HTML (though I don't remember any BBCode code being able to actually use HTML, only display it like the Code option).
