i suppose its better if you draw the bare legs first, before putting on pants. what i usually do, after getting the proportions right, i just draw the legs kind of conelike, and when i get to the knees, begin drawing the calf, and finishing from there. sorry i know my explanation isn't all that good, but i suppose you could just look here: www.howtodrawmanga.com/howtodraw/jdillon/fbody3.htmlpersonally, i hate doing the circles and ovals, so i just kind of outline it, and once i kind of carve out the right proportions, then i just put the right curves on. but it really helps if you kind of draw a manequin for your person, purely for proportions. but thats mostly for the upper body. the legs are a lot more simple, so you dont really need to do it. |

Ah! I usually do a mannequin, but I've been doing the legs waaayy differently. That's really helpful, thanks so much!
