So, anyone play persona?
for my birthday I got reams of games, like persona 3, and I gotta say out of the... 6 games I got this one is my favorite, beating out Okamiden and the world ends with you, and shadow hearts. still excellent games.
But, this thread is about persona. and, I am defiantly going to get persona 4 when I finish 3, is there a 5? I wont be able to get 1+2.
so, thoughts?

I've heard of them, and I think my brother has played the third one, but I haven't played any of them. I'd probably enjoy them thoroughly, though.
Why won't you be able to get 1 and 2? Are they Japan-only releases or something?
EDIT: I should do the research before I ask stupid questions.
The first one was remade for the PSP and released in Europe in 2010.
The second one was released in two parts. The first part was a Japan-exclusive, but is being remade for the PSP and released in North America in fall 2011. No word on a European release date, but if you can run a Playstation emulator on your computer and find a ROM there's a fan translation you could use to play it.
The second part was already released in English, but not in Europe. If you can find a ROM and run an emulator, you can also play that.
So, you could play them, but it might not be entirely legal, depending on how you do it.
(All the release dates I mentioned up there I found on Wikipedia.)

Go for making a separate thread for shin megami tensei because even though they're made by the same company and similar games, persona in fact being a spinoff, I'd still say they're different enough to actually warrant a separate thread. You know they're finally releasing megami tensei 4 for the 3DS sometime? Yeah. |

Only point is so that rise can pin point a weakness on some shadows. That's why i didn't want to pick a world class persona
