Because one or more of you are familiar with Custom Robo, I've set up this discussion topic of the series. I've recently got Custom Robo Arena for the DS for my brithday last week, and one or two years ago, I've got Custom Robo Battle Revolution (the Gamecube game) at Gamestop.
So, which of the female Robos do you think is the prettiest?

Sorry, but I was told to do that from a show that I've seen.
Anyway, I played Custom Robo for the Gamecube about 6 years ago, but I hardly remember anything. I do remember that my favorite weapon was a gun that fired swords...
I've been thinking about getting Arena, how is it?

I played it a very long time ago... so I barely remember what I used or what strategy I used.
I remember that sword gun wigout mentioned, and several others, but not much. Now that I think of it... I remember using "Afterburner", a strange gun which fired a few blue cone-like bullets which had a delay before actually moving.
That, and another one which shot strange cones upwards which came down onto the opponent after locking on for a bit.
If I remember correctly, which I don't always, I remember using slow weapons... launching tons of pods and bombs which were very powerful but slow in order to lock my opponent into a small area so that my gun would actually be able to hit them. Yes, I don't remember much... but I always hated being close ranged... so I'd always use robots with weak melee.
As for your question, hydra, I found female robos repulsive. In fact, I think I disliked a great many of them.

I've heard about Custom Robo a lot, but I never actually got onto it though I thought about it  I didn't even know there were multiple games...What makes them good? Are certain games better than others [in the series]? Just in case I ever decide to get some new games sometime in the future  |

ahaha i remember playing the gamecube version at a grocery store.... multiple times....
my cousin once brought his ds version, and we played some versus matches. he always used the tiny red ninja one, and i don't remember much about what i chose (i wasn't all that good anyway). i remember the stunning weapons being really annoying, and the formula legs being really fun, since you could run around really fast. the thing i liked the most about those matches was when we set our screens to first person, so that you'd actually be surprised when you turned around a corner. ;D
custom robo is pretty fun, especially because it takes strategy in knowing your opponent, and skill in fighting and controlling your robot. most of the time people just customize their robots to look cool, though (i know i would!)...

Whaaaat? What does not liking the way they look make me sexist? What I meant was I disliked the way they look and fight. You will find I dislike many things in terms of characters, robots, borgs, or anything really when it comes to looks.
I am not insulting the female gender, merely stating that I abhor the female bots in Custom Robo. I don't see why there's a problem if I don't like female bots because of their looks or style.

Viroth is right, he meant he didn't like how they look, not that they don't belong in the game or anything like that.
On a side note Hydra, I noticed that under your new avatar, (which looks cool) it says "Hooked on Custom Robo and GoGos Crazy Bones"... I love Crazy Bones too!

I think I like the shining fighters and the little runners. Also, I just noticed that Hydra has Jameson and A.I.R.S. as his avatar. A.I.R.S. is one of my faves.

in case you don't know, A.I.R.S. stands for Anti-Insurgent Ray Sky, which makes it a special military model of Ray Sky! Thanks for liking my new flavor text, wigout old buddy. Also, I happen to have some Crazy Bones from the 1990s.

Me and my friend would play a game during snack time in 2nd grade and argue about how we claimed that each other cheated, which is the reason why they were discontinued in the first place. Good times...

yeah but some young boys at a certain age will get that one childish idea that others have gotten before them, that girls have COOTIES, how's that for childish?! Anywho, back on topic!
I'm currently in the Grand Battles/Grudge Matches segment of Custom Robo Arena, and I'm a Lord-class Robo Commander and this year's Robo Cup champion! I specialize in Shining Fighters, just to let you know! Shining Fighters for the gosh-darned epic mother-freaking win! Too bad the Lightning Skies can't steer well in Arena like they do in the Gamecube game. And wouldn't you believe the illegal Robo known as Jameson? He's fraggin' huge, most likely the biggest illegal Robo in the ENTIRE series! I think he looks cooler in Custom Robo V2 (I never played it) than in Arena!

you guys know how Ray Legend from the Gamecube game is classified as an illegal robot? I think the reason why it was considered illegal because it's been illegally modified to air dash six times (three times as much as regular Rays could), with defensive power sacrificed for offensive power.
